Quote:p4 1.5, 1gb RAM, geforce fx5200, windows XP. the fix was to put the isntallation program on the desktop, which i did and it ran. It installed the game to the default folder and then I ran it, which seemed fine until the game started properly (with a villain character) and I saw no ui. Everything else seemed fine. I logged out properly and then when i came back to log in the above happened and it just ain't happening. Of course I'm judging the game, but I won't pay for any piece of software that isn't at least stable first. This isn't. If it can be fixed, great. If it's going to take all day to do it, notsomuch.I suspect that this is the root cause of your problems. First off, can you provide some details about your setup (operating system, basic spec etc.), we might be able to hazard a guess as to why the installer didn't work. Secondly what was the "fix" you found online?

Unfortunately it's too late for that. If it was a case of simply repatching a minor, small, file then it wouldn't be an issue. A complete multi gigabyte reinstall that will take about 5 hours is another thing entirely.

It's saying: "fixing file: piggs/geom.pigg" and it's downloading from scratch (and it won't finish before I go to bed which means the whole thing will have to start from scratch tomorrow). Sorry, but I'm really not impressed.

I wasn't given an option to verify anything. It just started reinstalling. This is a trial alright, just not the one i was expecting and it certainly doesn't encourage me to spend money for the same experience.

Was really keen to try this game out. I downloaded the updater and found that wouldn't work so I had to hunt around for a fix online. Found one that would only install if the files were stored directly to the desktop. When i get the game running i find there is no ui at all. The only window is the 'this is a trial account window'. Pressing random keys brings up a few windows so i play until i get fed up with controls i don't know and can't change (I can't see my powers or my stats). I log back in to try again and now it seems to want to reinstall the whole thing from scratch despite it all being on the hard drive. It took 4 hours to download all this, and now it claims to be 'fixing' files by downloading them at the same speed (slower in fact, if the speed listed is any indication). This cannot be right.
