Well I went with weapon mastery because my first build (which I made when I was pretty clueless about set bonuses) included body mastery for focused accuracy, and physical perfection. I was essentially trying to fix an endurance problem which did not exist and when I made the build I posted in the OP I chose weapon mastery because I thought that caltrops would prove more useful than it actually did, also there is an error in mids which shows exploding shuriken as having a taunt effect. The reason I took provoke, besides the very nice set bonuses provided by mocking beratement, was at the time I was doing a lot of small (2-4) person teams and RTTC was not providing enough of a taunt to keep the squishies alive.
I checked out your build, and it definitely would be more effective than my current one however I am not a fan of blaze mastery. Xyzor mentioned soul mastery up thread, and after taking a look at it I think dark blast would make a fine addition to my attack chain.
So I took _Pine_'s build and modified it to work with the soul mastery patron pool. I was unsure about a few of the changes I made, but it puts me 3% short of the softcap on smashing/lethal, softcaps energy/negative, and lets me softcap everything (including psionic) 50% of the time while hastened. For what its worth, I did get some incarnate abilities on this character, I believe right now he has the Musculature Total Core Revamp, and Barrier Partial Radial Invocation, neither of which I included in the mids build.

Sure go ahead and post your build, maybe I'll see something in it that can help improve mine. I looked at the soul mastery patron pool and dark blast does indeed look like it would be a great addition to my build, I'll mess around in mids and see if I can work any of the other powers into my build to find something that works. I know losing the targeting drone would probably fix the endurance issues I have been experiencing. Will post again once I have had a chance to test some things out later in mids.

Thanks for your response AF_Bill, and that is an interesting build you have but I don't believe it is right for me. First off I noticed your build does not include shadow punch, or shadow maul this means that in order to have a non-stop attack chain I would need to use boxing (or one of the ancillary powers) which is not ideal. Second, you used more than a few purple enhancements in the build, and tbh I don't think most of them are needed as it only decreases the recharge of soul drain by about 1 second over my non-purple build in the OP. Your build does come much closer to the softcap than the one I posted by about 7%.
Since there were no responses in the first couple days after I posted this thread I did actually respec to the build I posted (with a few minor deviations) and I have been very pleased with it, my only real concern is that it is quite endurance hungry. I have been considering shuffling something around so that I could take Dark Consumption which would likely solve my endurance issues. I am also still not convinced I am making the best use of non-purple IO sets in my build, but that is something I can work on once I've stabilized the endurance on it. -
I have a DM/WP scrapper I've been enjoying lately, unfortunately he was bested by my new alt so he is in need of a respec to stay relevant. I did some toying around in mids and this is what I came up with. Its by no means a perfect build, but its better than what I had and I'd appreciate some input in making it better. I do not plan to use purples or pvp IOs.

So I have an odd problem, when am playing COH I have little to no lag in most missions. I have the graphics settings turned down not all the way, but low enough so i don't see a framerate drop. My issue only occurs when I enter a large map, such as a safeguard mission or certain mission maps. It will play perfectly fine with almost zero lag but if I open my map it will get basically unplayable its so laggy. After opening the map, nothing I have tried will stop the lag short of re-zoning and not opening my map. Anyone got a clue as to why this would be a problem? I have tried everything I can think of to fix it, but short of not using my map in those missions I have not found one.
