Can someone please tell me the exact name for the intrdx SO enhancement(mutant.)?

I have Aid self and I`m guessing this makes it possible to resist interrupts but i`m buggered if I can find it.

I`m level 30 btw.

What i`m driving at is this though. Currently (before I respec) if I go against (for example) the council, in a team, I can go in taunting to my hearts content because I can take pretty much whatever they dish out.

If I go against COH I have to be more careful because my RE el RES EN are disproportionately weaker than my S/l.

So If I DROP the two res entirely in place of tough and weave, would I fair better against CoH (or any non S/L foe) or worse?

I`m an old school (pre i6 and Ed) invul/ energy melee level 50 Tank.

My defences currently are :

Rpd,
temp inv,
dull health
unyeilding
Res ele
Res en
invinc.
unstop.

All (cept for the 2 res) well slotted.

Question is am i or am i not better off replacing Res en and Res El with boxing/ tough and weave?

i dont mean for s/l. That`s fine. i mean for energy or elemental or any other kind of damage.

Do those 3 mitigate my (puny) losses from the two Reses?

I was referring, of course with the uneven distinction. The allowed and the not allowed as it were.

Somehow you seem to imply that bases should be given away for free (that is: without having to buy CoV).
But, I have to ask, why is it that you want bases that badly but don´t want to buy CoV in order to get them (along with other nice stuff)?
The additional box does not cost that much, the monthly fee does not change, CoX is one client, so you don´t need 1 GB of additional space...
And btw: Cryptic did not diminish the full SG experience. Nothing was taken away from you. They enriched the full SG experience for those who have both games.

You`re missing something.
I have both.
Some members of my SG dont. It may be because they can`t afford it. Whatever the reason is, they suffer in conparisin to those that do have it.
The consequences are
The SG loses out. We cant have SG meets in the base. This, by the way, is one way this policy diminishes the SG experience.
The player loses out. A because they feel "inferior" b because of the few beneficial features of the base that they cant benefit from.
C Cyrptic can lose out because these "have nots" will compare themselves to the haves and quit the game- certainly they wont recommend it on.That`s a generalisation but the point stands.

Again I ask, do other games havea policy like this?

And the SG experience was so insultingly dry before the bases came along, that I wouldn`t really class the bases as an enrichment. more of an "about time" process.

It`s a narrow minded, blinkered policy as far as I`m concerned.

A year (nearly ) afterlaunchig CoV we find that CoH chars who who wish to access their SGs base still must purchase CoV.

Yet Statesman wonders why bases arent as popular as he envisioned.

Who does this kind of cyber aparthied serve?

Cyrptic because they sell a few more boxes?

What about players who havent got the room on their comps for anther 1g donload?

Do other games run this kind of aparthied on something like housing or bases?

Cant they see how by weakening these players experience theyre making them feel like second class players?

They`re diminishing the full SG experience (which is crucial to maintaining interest and fun for many people?)

Theyre just making it harder for Sgs to work in a formatted, interesting way.

And commercially can`t they see they`re diminishing the chances of people recommending the game to they`re friends.

What am I saying? Of course they can`t.
