Now I run WoW at almost Max settings and with 25 people in a raid I get around 30 FPS with a lot of spells going on and in 1920x1080 resolution. 20 at the very least.
If Im idle its anywhere between 80-110 fps in just the major cities itself and not in raids(which are instanced).
Now Im in the starting area in CoX and I get 30 fps.
Now I know 30 fps is decent, but thats in 800x600 mode which is absolutely ugly.
Any ideas?
So far I've tried fiddling with shadows, and all effects turned down low and they did nothing but increase my fps by 5.
For an old game like this I should be hitting at least 60 constantly in 1024x768 moreso in 800x600.
Please help.
P.S: I would also like to add that all my drivers are up to date, no other programs running in the background except for antivirus(AVG) and shutting it down doesn't have any help on fps at all.
Internet connection is fine as well( I play WoW with the same internet connection)
