I want to hear the debate between Ice Shield and Glacial Shield. I know the OP made a 180-degree turnaround after i7 about these two. And moreso, says that Glacial Shield could be good as Ice. What do I get or lose by taking one or the other?

I really like Thugs after level 32. By the way, what is your henchmen supposed to be pulling out of the bag? Most of the time it looks like just a clenched fist. I remember one time I put the upgrade equipment on one of my thugs before the lower upgrade and he pulled a gun out of the bag. Is there a bug with the animation?

Hurl makes all the difference for the bruiser when he's trapped by other henchmen. Knockout blow is really cool to see. Plus, I love when my enforcer tosses a clip in the air and shoots it.

Maybe I was hoping that I could get him semi-invincible. Too bad you can't slot fo dmg resist. At least I didn't see it on the list...

Just got my Bruiser today. Love it. Only thing, he doesn't benefit from tactics or manuevers unless with the enforcers. And typically you don't want to send in your enforcers really close. Maybe I might have to change my play style. I can't wait to slot some damage on him. And maybe one more accuracy SO.

I notice Thugs aren't the quickest draw. All the shots seem to take a little while. I guess it's the nature of the set. I'm sure when I get Equip Thugs and a second Thug, I will be doing faster damage.

Another thing I notice is that in Mercy, the Thug MM doesn't strafe but it does in the mission. I wonder if that's a Mercy bug more than an MM bug?

Having fun, anyway and I can't wait till level 6.

After 3 short levels of Thugs, the only thing I noticed is the henchman AI is a bit dodgy.

I was near the Jailbird badge in Breakout and I summoned a Thug. I put him on follow. I proceeded to go down to my contact and my Thug got stuck on the 2nd floor. I have a level 40 Ninja MM and a level 26 Necro MM and usually calling them with "Follow" usually works but it didn't this time. I had to dismiss my Thug and summon him again.

Otherwise, I love Dual Wield. And I can't wait for Equip Thugs.

How long ago did i7 get on test?

I just moved my lvl 21 Robotics/Traps Mastermind to test. The bug fix to me is just fine. Better damage output without being too powerful.

I'd say you should put this into effect ASAP. If there are things to smooth out, it could be done later (although, yes, I'd rather it be perfect in one fell swoop). At least MMs can enjoy overall better damage out while the kinks are worked out.

So, right now on live our robots are actually more powerful non-upgraded than upgraded?

I have a level 20 mastermind. I just wonder if this will make a difference until the bug is fixed.

Got mine at Best Buy yesterday. $10 up front then I pay the difference when the game comes out. I also registered for the CoV preorder at the NCSoft website. I just wonder how the CoV beta testing will work? Will you log into CoH and then pick the CoV beta test server? Will we need to install a separate program at later time?
