*Officially*, the only recounting of recent events is completely without official response.

Thus, they have handcuffed themselves into creating a situation where people can spread the word, whether via the internet or via in-game discussion and the staff cannot offer contradictory evidence.

Imagine the lunacy in such a situation - the majority of the people who educate others are those expressing a contrary position and the staff are forbidden from offering any counter-evidence or arguments.

Dark, to me the first and biggest step is communication. While I may or may not agree with the dom changes or pet +rech nerfs, I would actually hold those examples up to be the ideal way for the staff to handle such situations.

I was around lvl 42 with my first toon (2-3 months of playtime, 5 hours a night) before I learned what a global channel was or led my first team.

I teamed up with the same group every night and they didn't participate in global channels.

Panzer, it was pointed out to me that the boards are no place for reason and logic.

Hmmm...I can't find it in the rules.

Are we now allowed to post actual global names of players?

I also agree with you regarding the "venting" issue, but point out that there likely have been a need for venting if we'd simply been told what was going on.

And you know what, theres a difference between in game farms and AE farms. Mainly that the in game stuff you're still learning the various parts of the game. AE farms you're experiencing a tiny part of the game which is leaving new players with little to no knowledge of the game. You can ignore this problem all you like. I'm not saying its hard to get teams outside Atlas or anything, i'm saying that people shouldn't have to leave Atlas to avoid the farmer broadcasts. At the very least the AE needs to be instanced to remove it from zone broadcast.

Something has to be done about this.
