Here is something everyone forgot.

Until just recently, you started getting debt at L6. Thats right, level six. When they added in the arenas in i5 (IIRC), they bumped it up to L10. All us old farts had to be very careful when entering the hollows or perez park!

46 pages of awesome!

Here are a few:

1) I am one of the few known players to go a full 10 levels in debt without ever leaving it. I officially went from levels 23 to 33 without ever leaving debt, tis how I got the first 3 debt badges. Even then, after I got to L33, I didn't get out of debt until my final bar and leveled to 34.

2) There was a glitch that cause a hallway's entrance to turn black and make you be unable to see through it until you walked through the black wall.

3) That, although the devs say they have no impact on the game, choosing certain origins massively effects your character. Even from the beginning, a character with a Science origin will have a horrible time soloing missions because they will be forced to fight Vahzilok at low levels.

4) That there was a glitched that caused the Kronos titan to spawn in the Hive and kill an entire hami raid as it was in the process of combat.

5) That Fire Blast is the only AoE focused set and thus was very sought after for herding and farming groups. I recall many instances where I was picked up at low levels only to go into L40 missions, be SK'd and blow apart mobs with my AoEs.

6) That there were sometimes up to 12 Winter Lords spawning at one time in King's Row, thus making it the most popular zone in winter 04-05.

7) That by being here for two years and getting both Celebrant and Reveler, you get a 5th Column gladiator as a tribute to the lost VG.

There are also a few other instances which they are referenced.

a) The supposed glitch in which scientist's spawn as 5th Mek Men.

b) The missions in which the Council took over the world have a billboard of the 5th logo.

c) And if you sometimes come across it, you can find a rare few boxes in Council missions with the 5th logo on it.

Coldfire had rushed to the sound of the collapsing building. Normally he would have ignored it and let the other heroes deal with it. Flying swiftly he arrived in time to see another hotshot attacking the villain responsible. Coldfire ignored the fight and went to help the people that had been in the building. Moving debree, he found most dead, crushed under the massive weight of the concrete and steel building, but soon, he found survivors. Most were injured and in no condition to move.

"Help..."

A voice to Cold's left caught his ear. He turned and there he saw a woman, legs being crushed by a huge chunk of steel.

"Hold on I'll-" Cold said being cut off by the woman.

"My...son..." She said pointing to a cradle that sat half destroyed by the destruction. Coldfire could hear the crying of the baby. As he turned back to look at the woman, he saw her lifeless body lying in a small puddle of blood.

Coldfire moved over to the baby and pulled him out. Picking him up and looking out at the carnage that was the apartment complex, he saw the survivors that could stand. Walking over to the nearest one, he handed over the baby and said, "Take him, get out of here and call the paramedics."

Coldfire lifted into the air and glided near the other hero.

"We need to protect the civilians so that can get out of here." Coldfire said after watching the other man through a large chunk of rubble at the woman, "We should work together on this."

Coldfire never liked teaming with other heroes, but he had to this time. He may not be much of a hero, but he always knew when it was time to help.

That is so awesome, must email that to all my friends.

What is your plot for your characters? Go into detail, flesh out the story and tell the posters of the forums. Go wild, if you haven't thought of a plot, maybe this thread could help. I'll start by giving the basic plot of my casts entire story.

At the beginning, Coldfire Kaiser escaped the evil clutches of Crey. After working for them for years under blackmail, the history of pain and the death of his entire family make him a cold and dark person. Fighting against Crey and becoming a hero, he comes across many other fighters. Carlos del Suego was his first friend in the city. A mercenary working for an anonymous company began working with him to fight the evils of the city. Blade of Dragon came across Coldfire in a mission in which they almost killed each other. After making a truce, they band together with Carlos and create a small group to fight their enemies. Soon after Coldfire realizes he true powers, he comes across a battered Ferra Deamon. A woman killed by the Circle of Thorns and resurected by the Banished Pantheon to be used as a mystical slave because of her dark powers. One day, Coldfire Kaiser's DNA was gotten in time to be cloned successfully. The outcome was Charcold Kaiser. His mind corrupted by the memories of Coldfire's past, he snaps and creates a vendetta against both Crey and his original. Working his way up the food chain in the Isles, Charcold meets multiple villains. Diomedes, the chaos thirsting soldier and his troops. And the cold and heartless Drond of War whos body was taken from him in the far future, only to come to the past and take his revenge on the people who did it to him.

One night, the woman Becky Morningstar awakened in a Crey lab and ran when they began doing surgery on her. Escaping to a nearby apartment complex, she was shot down in the hallway and saved by one of its residents. Coldfire Kaiser fried the pursuers and saved her life. The two fall in love and their bond makes them stronger. This also makes Ferra, the woman in love with Coldfire, turn evil and join Charcold. His numbers growing, Charcold prepared for a massive assault against Coldfire to take him out, but before he could, they were captured by Crey. Finding out directly from the Countess herself. Coldfire was shocked to find, Becky was her clone. In a rage, his true powers were shown and the Kaiser Gene, the mutant origin in him, gave him the power to slay Countess Crey.

For months, the heroes lived in a state of semi-peace as the villains readied themselves. Charcold had grown in number massively, and with the addition of Frigyd, a once hero given ice powers by an accident involving CO2 turned evil to find a cure for the pain of her powers. Coldfire, too, found an ally. Anarchy Hellfire's family was also killed by the Freakshow for getting a group of their own sent to jail. After stealing the technology needed, he joined the heroes to get revenge. The day grew closer to the final showdown and then it happened. One night in the isles, Ferra, who at the time was in love with Charcold, found him and Frigyd together. In a tearful rage, she went to Skyway City to take out all the people that had hurt her in the past. Killing hundreds, and decimating the city, she was finally taken down by a group of heroes. Coldfire Kaiser found her, and in his arms she died, finally at rest.

Charcold was a little off center because of this, and because of it, his minions thought him weak, and they plotted mutany. Attacking him, they were dispatched slowly. Only the most loyal remained and they would be the force to take on Coldfire's allies.

Then, one night, the night Coldfire planned to propose to Becky, he recieved a call on the drive home. Crey wasn't dead. In fact, they were better than ever, and they had Becky. In a warehouse in Independance Port, a bomb was set to explode in only 5 minutes. With no time to spare, Coldfire headed out to try and save the woman he loved. As he rushed through the warehouse, taking bullets and ignoring the pain, he came to Becky...to late. As the dust settled, only Coldfire remained. Battered and bruised, his shattered body was exausted. As the other heroes arrived, he stood and in anger lashed out at them for not being there to help her. When the Phalanx arrived, Coldfire was fighting the heroes when they stopped him. He left for Striga Isle and hid from the world, ignoring everything that had once gave him hope. His friends came, but none could get him to return. Shocked by the news of Becky's death, Charcold reflected on his evil ways, and decided to go and help Coldfire. With his words and the thought that Becky's death inspired even the most evil man he knew to turn good, Coldfire set out to get revenge. Coldfire, Charcold, Carlos, Drone, and Frigyd all went to fight Crey. Getting to the final floor of the office building Coldfire found a woman, reminescent of the late Countess. She said she was her daughter, hyper aged to become the new Countess. Coldfire thought about his actions thought about what he could do, but instead of killing her, he did worse. He broke her, left her in a coma like shock.

With their enemies gone, the group split up. Coldfire took the task of cleaning up Paragon. Charcold went to clean up the Isles and started with Arachnos. Carlos started a mercenary corporation and has been working ever since. Frigyd found a cure and married Charcold, and lives a normal life. As for Becky, no one knows her true fate. Nothing remained of her after the explosion. Some assume she was dissentegrated. Coldfire didn't think so. He believes that somehow, she's still alive, and that someone is watching her, and she is watching over him.

Phew, that took a while. Now then, lets see some plot lines. It always amazes me the things people come up with!

((Well, after the few weeks this lived, I'm proud to say I created a semi-successful RP. Sadly, I'm killing it now. Thank you all for being a part of it. The Coliseum 2 is now closed for business. Maybe, like me, someone will create a Coliseum 3 ))

((First, you guys are starting to piss me off, and with you guys working together, that's crap, and I'm about to have Charcold unleash is true power to stop it. Second, I'll explain how each of Becky's powers works. Fighting=Not martial arts. It's basic fighting techniques and what she's learned from Blade of Dragon. Regen=she was created with the power since she was going to be used as a protector after the cloning process and her main purpose. Strengh=another of the scientific augments. sword and psychic powers=one in the same. Being a clone of a psychic gives one benifits. She has always had these abilities. Twas her character concept.))

Becky's power left her drained and she collapsed onto the ground. The ninja just launched himself over her. "Fine. You superbitch...win...but...I'll be back." Becky said holding her arms out hair in her face as she waited for Reishi to finish her off. As Reishi moved over to end it. An explosion was heard from the side as a massive fiery wall collapsed and left a huge cloud of debree and dust settling. As Reishi looked on at the sight she heard a scream and turned. There stood the true form of Charcold Kaiser. He and Coldfire had a power that they were born with. Their gene, the Kaiser Gene, gave them their mutant powers. Coldfire became an angelic form. White uniform and wings accented with fire. Charcold however, being the evil clone, had a dark costume. His black self and demonic wings accented by the black flames licking at the area around him. In his hand was Becky Morningstar. He held her by the neck in the air, his icey sword in her chest, a black energy pulsing from it into her. "She can't heal." Charcold said throwing her to the side as he look over at Frigyd, "She got in the way so she was knocked out." Charcold's neck cracked as he turned to look at Reishi, "So it's just me and you all." He grin and the sadistic look that haunted the nightmares of so many people was seen by all the fighters. Reishi and he were at equal speed now as he could fly at subsonic speeds. And his powers were multiplied in power significantly. "Let me tell you something." Charcold said to Reishi as he took his sunglasses off and crushed them in his hand, "Me and Coldfire have a power that lies in us, dormant. This power, once tapped, makes us almost unstoppable except by each other. I have fought him before like this, and he barely won. Now that you have gotten rid of him, this will be an easy fight." Charcold laughed maniacally as the blood on his sword was slowly engulfed by the darkness surrounding his body.

((Kaiser gene. Very complicated to explain. It's easier to say they are of religious past and that it affects the members of the Kaiser family differently. You could say Coldfire was the holy warrior and Charcold was the demonic hellspawn. Although it only shows as wings and auras, they do have higher power behind it. And once again, this has always been a part of the plot for them. My fourth costume slot for both is reserved for black and white versions of their original costumes.))

Becky saw the ninja and while she was focused on Reishi, turned to him. She focused her thoughts as he moved to attack and then, he was unconcious. His mind was wiped, nothing remained at the moment. At the end of the match, she would replace the memories and thoughts, but he had intervened for the last time.

Frigyd froze the air making the robots slip on the icey surface. Their robotic feet unable to grip the ground. As they struggled to get up, Frigyd went to each one and froze their circuits making them overheat and explode. Charcold meanwhile froze the feet of Shinade and watch him fall forward on his face. "You really are a moron aren't you? Did you think this would be easy now that Coldfire is gone? Oh on the contrary, I'm the sadistic one. Lifting a hand in the air, a ball of fire started forming, maybe the size of a small car, and threw it at Shinade.

((Remember, Becky has all the powers of Countess Crey. She just made Shinji basically fall asleep via a massive hypnosis ability.))

"NO!" Charcold yelled as Frigyd froze Shinji solid, "This is their fight! Stop trying to interfere! For once in your pathetic life be honorable!" Charcold threw out an EMP grenade that shorted out the Bots electronics. The two fighters got ready for another round of fighting, this time, if more robots came, Charcold would unleash the other Redirection device he had in his pocket, causing the robots to short out and turn on their masters, something he had kept from DoW in case he was to turn on Charcol. Watching the ninja, Frigyd and Charcold readied themselves and went on the offensive.

((I have ways around it trust me))

Charcold chuckled as he pulled out a small device which made a force field in front of him. "Perhaps you've heard of Drone of War? He is my minion." Charcold said with a grin, "I know all about futuristic robots, trust me." Once the barrage ended, the shield went down and the two fighters went after the enemy. Frigyd took the robot master, Charcold took the ninja.

"No melee?" Becky said dematerializing her swords and closing her eyes, "Fine." Becky's mind focused, she saw Reishi coming moved and closelined her as she was attacking. "Did I forget to mention I was cloned from Countess Crey." Becky said eyes closed as she grasped Reishi's mind and searched her thoughts, memorizing her attacks and patterns before they could ever be used, "The psychic, Countess Crey." Becky had won this fight, she knew everything Reishi would do before hand a power she hated to use, but was the ultimate back up plan. "Give up now before I break your mind into tiny bits." Becky's eyes opened and an eerie purple glow was coming from them. Becky watched Reishi's thoughts like a movie, already knowing what would happen.

((For all RP purposes, this isn't god moding, after all, you just tore apart my character, and no, there is no way around this without collapsing your thoughts and closing your mind completely. I intend to finally win a match.))

"Hey [censored]!" Charcold said from behind the ninja, "Stay out of their fight, your is with us!" Frigyd launched a volley of ice at the two as Charcold ran at them with his fists ablaze.

Becky stood up and looked at the glowing Reishi, she had fought tougher enemies, this wouldn't be any harder than the fights with the Praetorians. Becky focused a moment and readied all of her regenerative abilities. Intergration. Instant Healing. And finally Moment of Glory. She was ready for a fight. And she wasn't going to lose, Reishi was going down, and Becky was going to avenge Coldfire's unjust defeat. "Alright you [censored], lets fight." Becky said as she focused again and made two broadswords appear and wielded them in a more loose way now that her true strength was tapped. Reishi didn't even know about Becky's true power, that she would save for later.

((You'know, you're lucky you didn't see Coldfire's true power or Reishi would be stain on the ground, just so you know. Anyways, this is shaping up to be very interesting...))

Becky had never felt this mad before the pure rage filling her body was making her hot. Becky flung her legs up and wrapped her feet around Reishi's head and flipped her slamming her into the ground. As Becky walked over she manifested her sword and put it to Reishi's neck and said, "You think you have it bad?! Well why don't you take a moment and learn about Coldfire! His family was murdered by Crey, he lost everything. For the last two years he has been alone, fighting them alone, and has seen countless people die because of his actions. He has seen so many deaths that his emotions have died, he can't even feel anymore. So what makes you think you have it bad when you still have friends and family, I'm all he has, you think you have it bad?! Try on his life." By the time Becky was done talking tears were flowing out of her eyes. Reishi talked about tragedy that she cause on others, no personal tragedy. Coldfire had been through more than she would ever be through and she had the nerve to act like she had it rough?! Becky wouldn't stand for it, she knew real pain, and she was about to cause it.

((She kinda slide around it. She made Reishi have to move the sword to block it and then slide under and around it to get behind her. And yes, all of my characters have a somewhat hidden talent. Becky's is superstrength.))

Becky kicked and as Reishi went to block it she slide going under the sword and she came up behind Reishi, and grabbed her in a suplex and flipped her. Lying on the ground, Becky put her foot to Reishi's neck and said, "You expected him to roll over?! He couldn't have known what that psycho [censored] would have done! He could have killed me after Coldfire was gone!" Becky put more pressure on Reishi's neck and said tearfully, "You don't know what it's like to not know if the only person that loves you in your life will live or die."

((There are reasons the arena officials don't mess with some of the heroes and villains that come into the arena. Coldfire is one, and Ryan is too. He killed the last official after all. Either way, Sousuke had no quams about killing an innocent woman and that in Coldfire's book is enough to kill a man. After all, if you knew his past, if you'd seen what he'd been though, you'd know why he defends Becky religiously. Either way, you still 'killed' Coldfire when he would have gladly given up after leaving Sousuke in the condition he was in. He was almost dead, he was a breathing wound. Coldfire would have just walked away after that one, and he would have taken Becky too. Just note that. I had it planned, but this thing with Becky's rage and her attacking Reishi is much more interesting.))

((Actually the point of the arena is to either kill the opponent or devestate him buuuuuut...either way, Sousuke broke the rules as well as you seem to see them.))

"I...will...not...give...UP!" Becky said slamming her blade into Reishi's. Becky made her sword dematerialize and she started attacking hand to hand. Becky's sword made her move awkwardly, she could move much faster without it. Moving swiftly with her own natural speed she went again on the offensive again.

((And again, it really wasn't a good idea to make you characters do what they did, and if you beat Becky, don't expect that to be the end of it. Charcold and Frigyd won't give a rat's [censored], but Coldfire and Becky will return to the arena.))

((1. You essentially killed my main character so don't get pissed off if I make her say a single line. 2. You think Becky gives a damn? You just essentially killed the man who saved her life the day she was cloned, brought her into his life, and made her what she is today. She really wouldn't care to much I think.)) Becky readied her sword again and said to Reishi, "No matter what you did to help me, what you did to Coldfire was not justified, you will pay for what you did." Becky said as she tore off the rest of her jacket for mobility, her leather underarmor already damaged. Becky focused her powers and started her body's instant regeneration and charged at Reishi.

((Oh, and about the abnormal shells. Frigyd has been fighting long enough to know how to freeze almost all bullets. The only thing is that incendary can't be frozen and uranium bullets melt the ice but are still stopped.))

Bullets were nothing to Frigyd, she could freeze every oncoming one, but sometimes she wasn't quick enough. Luckily she had armor to help with that. As she distracted the fighters below, Coldfire leapt into the air and unleashed a rain of fire.
