((Ok, I may have made a wee little mistake by missing this post. Villians in Paragon City DON'T have powers.))

Coldfire looked up at the woman and reached into his pocket. "Don't move." She said to him putting her hand on his arm. "Here." Coldfire said after a pause, he pulled out of his pocket a keychain with only one key on it, "My car is at Icon."

((BTW, Coldfire drives a 1970 302 Boss Mustang, black.))

"Cover your eyes!" Carlos said as he chunked a white phospherus grenade in the midst of the enemies below him.

((If this doesn't update soon we're gonna have to pronounce it dead...))

The group heard Experiment and began attacking Kraken. "Backlash special?" Blade asked Becky. Becky grinned and jumped into Blades awaiting hands and was launched into the air as Blade flew into the air as well. As Becky fell, Blade flew down and grabbed her hand and spun her around him and flung her at Kraken. With a single strike cut off on of it's arms. It screamed in pain and began swipping at Becky and Blade who used their skills to dodge the strikes. Carlos ordered his men to assault the tenticles as the others dealt with Kraken.

Coldfire landed at the medical tent in Steel Canyon and collapsed at the entrance. "...damn..." he said as he coughed up a little blood.

"Need help?" Blade said as he rushed in slicing at the legs of Kraken. "Blade!" a familiar voice yelled. In a flash a sword sliced into the back of the beast. It swung around and almost hit them both but it was hit by a volley of machine gun fire a squad of soldiers. "I've always wanted to take this thing down." Carlos said ordering his soldiers to keep firing. "Becky!" Blade said shooting a glance at her, "What are you doing here?!"

Becky smiled and readied her sword, "I'm here to do my job, and have a little fun in the process."

((Anyone got a rez?))

"Here!" Coldfire yelled as he threw the Crey Pistol he had to Experiment, "It can freeze it long enough to do serious damage!"

((Villians have their powers, just not here in Paragon. The Rogue Isles are normal...))

Coldfire looked down at the process. He had seen it before, and knew how they worked quite well. After he was done, the hero stood up and asked him, "Are you alright, can you move?"

Coldfire stood up a little unsteady and said, "I have to get out of here...I'm not strong enough to keep fight now, I have to get to a medical area."

Becky and Carlos stood over the charred remains of the many heroes in Dark Astoria. Becky hadn't stopped crying, the only sound in the entire area. The odd thing was, not all the bodies were heroes. Circle of Thorns and the Pantheon must have lost control of their abominations. "We should move on. I heard of more trouble in Perez Park..." Carlos said sadly. "Ok..." Becky said wiping the tears from her eyes.

Coldfire heard the man yelling for him and managed to cough a response, "L-Look for the...ciggarette butts..." Coldfire said. He had crawled out of the wreckage and into another room so as to get away from the hole that might have grown bigger, "I...I'm stable for now...need medical help, need...need a hospital." Cold said looking down at his shattered ribs and bloodied right arm.

((I'll let the Kraken power slide, but you guys seem to be getting the monsters mixed up. KRAKEN is the giant seaweed monster that is fighting Blade and Stella. HYDRA is the giant monster in the center of the lake flinging tentacles at random trying to kill the others. BTW, Coldfire is about on the 4th floor of the building.))

((You were supposed to attack Hydra the giant monster in the middle of the lake not Kraken.))

Blade flew through the gate to Perez Park after hearing from a fleeing hero's broadcaster that Coldfire was in need of help. As soon as he entered, he saw a Kheldian fly past attacking Kraken. The beast was readying a haymaker, so Blade rushed forward and jumped to stab the beast in the head. His katana sunk deep and made the beast scream in pain. "Need help ma'am?" Blade said doing a backflip to the ground.

Kraken took a mighty swing and smacked Coldfire out of the air and into an office building. In the rubble that used to be a wall lie the battered hero bleeding and pinned down under heavy steel. "Hurry...pinned...down..." Cold coughed into the broadcaster. About that time, Kraken began shaking the building attempting to collapse it.

Coldfire hurled a fireball at Kraken and got it to follow him. As he flew through the narrow woods the beast crushed trees and tore apart stone. As Cold flew over the gate he waited. He had expected the beast to come through the wall, but had instead leapt over and almost crushed the hero. "Dammit!" Cold said blocking falling debree from the monster's landing. Cold dodge a powerful swing and then flew into the building behind him, as he flew through the rooms, countless peices of metal and concrete tore after him. It was then he realized, he couldn't fight this thing off, and he had just signed his death warrant if the others didn't finish up and help him soon. Not only that, but they weren't powerful enough with just the ones there to stop the beast.

"Right then." Coldfire said launching himself in the air, "I can still fly so I'll distract the Kraken." Coldfire knew the risks, but he had to take out this thing, or Paragon was going down.

Blade lifted himself out of the carnage that was a group of hellions and skulls. "Jesus..." he said looking around, "Is anyone still alive?!" Blade looked around in dispair looking at the carnage of heroes and villians.

Becky stood with tears in her eyes as she looked on at the gate to Dark Astoria. Heroes had tried to escape but the gaurds had locked them out. Pantheon killed them, to be more specific, Adamastor killed them. It had torn through the gate and tried to attack Talos, but the she had stopped it with the help of several others. "It's terrible..." Becky said as Carlos walked up behind her. "I know, but there are still heroes in there." Carlos said intent on keeping her mind on the task at hand. "Arachnos did this didn't they?" She asked in sorrow looking at the carnage Adamaster had made out of the once great heroes. "Yes. That's why I came here, to warn you all...I failed..." Carlos said turning his face. "It isn't your fault..." she said walking through the destroyed gate.

"No, we have to take Hydra, that [censored] controls the Kraken." Coldfire said as he watched in horror as hundreds of hydra rose from the lake.

((Can everyone do me a favor and delete their posts up until Kraken was deleted, I have a plan. If you can't, like me, ignore those posts and move on, I will now comence what happens after Kraken was defeated.))

Coldfire looked up at the panting woman. Her power was drained in full. She was in no condition to fight and wouldn't be for a while. "Thanks, we couldn-" Coldfire was interupted by the sound of a tremendous roar. Kraken wasn't done, he wasn't by a long shot. Coldfire flew over the lake and saw that Kraken wasn't looking to fight them, but was looking to unleash Hydra. In the middle of the lake, sat the giant creature, and Kraken was it's guard.

Coldfire was tired of this fight, he was tired of those fools. He was tired of Charcold. "Die." Coldfire said as he the arena flashed with light blue light and in an instant all was frozen. Coldfire fell to his knees and gasped for air. He had no more energy, he had to rest, he had to get his power back. Charcold was frozen and so were the Arachnos monkeys. "Dammit..." Coldfire said stumbling away. Charcold managed to break the ice after a few moments, "Dammit, and I was just having fun."

As the two began walking out, they heard behind them ice cracking. With a shatter, Scorpion burst out, "RAAAAAH!"

"[censored]." Coldfire said as he collapsed onto the ground.

Carlos readied his rifle and began taking potshots at the crab spiders.

Coldfire ran out from behind a tree as kraken backhanded the entire cluster and was launched to the feet of another hero. "Are you Coldfire Kaiser?" he asked. "Yah, and that giant thing is all but unstoppable..." He said getting up. The Kraken hadn't stopped fighting since the fight began. "Got any Ideas?" Coldfire said looking back as another hero joined in.

Coldfire ran between the trees dodging acid and muck. The beast had seen them and wasn't happy. "This is Coldfire Kaiser! I'm stuck in Perez Park with two other heroes and we are pinned down by Kraken!" Coldfire yelled into his broadcast unit, "We need assistance! We can't fight him alone!"

Before Coldfire could respond he saw a massive chuck of wall being crushed behind him, and out from the dust came the massive seaweed monster, Kraken.

"Dammit!" Coldfire said running for cover, "We can't fight it! He could kill us easily!"

Darkgun and Demon ran for cover as well as a poor group of fleeing hellions were crushed by the beasts mighty feet.

Blade of Dragon entered Atlas Park and heard massive explosions. As he flew into the air he looked over at Atlas Statue only to see it crumbling. And a massive group of heroes fighting of multiple villian mobs.

"What the hell is going on?!" He yelled out as he flew to the scene only to see multiple heroes falling.
"My god..." He said as he watched hellions kill mighty heroes. With that he unsheathed his katana and readied for one hell of a fight.

((w00t, this is great! Anyways, so far so good. And soviet, you're good, feel free to control a few villains and move the plot along in multiple areas.))

As Coldfire entered Independance Port, he saw something he never thought to see. The island at which Terra Volta was, was gone.
"No..." Coldfire said to himself.
"My god." Darkgun said as multiple explosions began destroying the bridge.
About this time Coldfire heard a beeping on his PDA. Becky had sent him a message, 'There is a warehouse in Independance Port working as a medical area, I'm helping as best I can in Dark Astoria. Carlos and his men are busy in the Hollows. Coldfire...be careful.'

"We have to look for surviving heroes, Perez Park may be a good place to start, the gangs and proteans still have their abilities." Cold said to Darkgun.
"Right." He responded.

"The powers..." Cold began looking at darkgun, "The powers are out." "What?" Darkgun responded dumbfounded. "Heroes aren't invicible anymore...and if we die, the mediport won't work." Coldfire Kaiser said pointing down at the fallen hero, "Only those with natural abilities are left unscathed, but now the risks are far greater than a medical bill." Coldfire looked up and into the city. Somewhere behind the war wall to independance port, and explosion occured. "What the hell?!" Darkgun said in shock. "Terra...Oh my god! There were heroes in Terra Volta's Reactor trying to protect it from an attack!" Coldfire yelled flying to the tram.

Coldfire Kaiser (fire/ice blaster) has an ice sword which is not only an extention of his mutational powers but a manifestation of his malice and hatred.

Becky Morningstar (broadsword/regen), Coldfire's girl, has a broadsword which is a physical ability cause by the powers of the woman she was cloned from, which are psionic.
