i updated my city of heroes game... (throught the updater obviously) and it wont let me launch it.. it just sits there, the bar doesent move and it wont ask me if i want to play or not.. its weird. help?

yeahh.... i bought city of heroes architect edition from Steam and it said i get 1 month of free play.. yet it wants me to pay? im not thinking im getting that 1 month of free play anytime soon. wanna help anyone from NCsoft?
