Have fun, guys. And good luck, Bananas. As I said last friday, Cha'ron, I won't be able to join at this time on account of FFXII. Maybe next time, eh?
(Psst, Bananas... make sure you're in SG mode when you take down Lanaru, eh? >_> -
Hey, Negative, you called up my main villain, Vrykola, in-game and asked if he wanted to join in this... I just wanted to say that I'm sorry, but I won't be joining this like I'd said - my FFXII has arrived sooner than expected... >_>
So... yeah, see you guys in a coupla' weeks. ^_^; -
Hmm... I've done all of the SS TF's already anyway, so I'm mostly just doing this for inf - but this one offers the additional bonus of a point towards that SG Badge... so yeah, I'll sign up for this.
BlackDragon, lvl 50 BS/DA Scrapper -
I'm afraid I'll have to back out too... I just found out I'd double-booked Friday night, and unfortunately, this TF lost the coin-toss.
EDIT: Uhh... guys? You might wanna postpone this TF in view of the recent patch issues... -
So you did, my bad... hmm... seems I've got a TF scheduled at the same time... I'm only on it for the inf, however, and it's a bit of a drag in the first place. Guess I'll drop it and run this instead.
-
I'm up for Trolls, and maybe a few Lost. The rest, I've already got. When does this run, exactly?
-
Thanks for an excellent TF, guys. Despite some trouble right at first - and some fairly constant trouble for Aero - we got through it okay. Of course, the fact that the whole TF seems to be bugged may have something to do with that... Numina TF isn't SUPPOSED to spawn level 36-39 foes, is it? :P
Well, regardless, Heat Fulcrum now finally has her Galla Uniform in order... ten'SHUN! -
Actually, this is an overall AI issue, and not specific to masterminds. EVERY AI-controlled NPC follows that line in combat. Mastermind pets are unique in that you can order them around, and therefore alter their response slightly... Controller/Dominator pet do the same things, only you can't do anything about it.
The good news is, of course, that the enemy NPC's ALSO act like this, which you can take advantage of. -
My Blaster needs this, last badge for the Task Force Commander. Heat Fulcrum, level 35 Energy/Ice Blaster.
-
Put me down for second reserve... although, if the FFXII I ordered from Amazon recently arrives before friday, I'll probably be a no-show.
-
Come, now, you know the evil saying... "If at first you don't succeed... just give up, already, and save yourself the trouble."
Besides, the magic 8-ball says I'll be neck-deep in Final Fantasy XII for a conciderable portion of the forseeable future. -
Well, that was a complete flop... nobody showed. Well, two guys showed, neither of whom had signed up in this thread, and a random passerby decided to join in too. Then one of 'em had to go 'cuz it was dinnertime, and a second declared his intention to loose on purpose, so there wasn't really much point in doing anything.
Guess that's the true face of Evil - not carring.
Of course, since this means that I get to keep the five mill, and I still had the fun of comming up with all the questions, I don't really care either. -
In celebration of certain events entirely unrelated to this game, I've decided to host a little quiz in CoV... I've previously had both a riddle-competition and a geek-knowledge quiz in CoH, which were quite successful, so now I've decided to host a quiz in CoV too. Large Infamy prizes are on stake!
It's quite simple, really. A series of questions pertaining to EVIL in all its permutations - real, imagined, past, present. In keeping with the traditions of evil, there are no second prize, no consolation-prize - winner takes all, looser cries.
The prize is, incidentally, 5 million Infamy - which is about as much inf as I'd care to transfer in a single sitting before the transfer limit is upped.
Come one, come all, and demonstrate your superior knowledge of EVIL!
The darkness falls, Friday the 23rd, at 7 PM GMT, under the Clocktower on Mercy Island - if you don't know where it is, just go to the Mercy Island Fortunata Fateweaver marked on the map, she's right next to it.
Keep on sinning,
BlackDragon -
Yay, forums working again!
I'm in for this with Vrykola, level 46 Mastermind. Just tell me when... -
You're running a bit late... since nobody else seemed to be interested, me and Negative ran it last night. Took surprisingly little time - and I'm pretty sure he's finished the mission now, so, sorry.

I didnt see any mention of any empowerment stations. Both the Arcane and Tech have 3 tiers of empowerment station, which allow you to build more buffs per tier. As the empowerment stations use base salvage it saves you stockpiling useless junk and helps your character at the same time!
Also both the Arcane and Tech empowerment stations will only work their own respective types of salvage so its useful to have both!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... got a tier 3 Empowerment Station too, not that anybody uses it. Ever. Myself included. >_>
There's the invention-benches, I suppose, but we won't be seeing those 'till I9, and that ain't for a while yet. Guess I should think about setting up a Raid Teleporter and a Vault so that, when and if it's ever enabled, we can run the Cathedral of Pain trial. -
My CoV SG just managed to set up a second Teleporter Room, and we're now covering all 7 destinations. We've also got a Mission Computer, and a set of storage devices, along with the obvious Reclamation Device. My question is - now what? We're not dedicated to PvP, so we don't need a raid teleporter or any base defences. Cathedral of Pain still ain't working, so there's no point in having a vault. We've only got the first two Worktables, but the only thing the third one's good for, is producing high-end energy and control objects, which we've got nothing to use for.
So... is that it for bases? Smallest plot, two 'squares' still open, nothing more to do with the place...
My CoH SG is conciderably bigger and still growing, but only because there are more TP destinations by a long shot. I'm just wondering if there's any utility in the SG bases I've somehow missed... -
I'd be interested in joining in for Infernal's Demons, but not the Rikti Monkeys... give me a call when you get to 'em if there's room at that point, I'll be on-line doing Valentine's Day Missions, you've got my global.

I too got this mish on my lvl 50 after failing Naylor, however as far as I was aware the eyeballs that count only spawn in 8 ppl teams on relentless (Hence very tricky for me and my SG working on it as they are all purples). I may be wrong, however when I tried with anything less than an 8 person team on any setting other than relentless they weren't spawning with Naylor (Pither may work differently though). gl with that.

I presume this was some time ago... the spawn-codes were changed a bit of a while ago, to allow for lieutenants on solo-villainous. That also means that bosses spawns far more often, though - when I was farming Fake Nemesissies a few days ago, we got decent numbers of bosses all the way down to team-size 5... on Villainous. -

what's the next project?
[/ QUOTE ]
Presumably collecting all the badges...
Anyway, congrats, Master Z - it was long enough in the comming. ^_^ -
Aye, apparently a full team...
Vrykola - level 45 - @BlackDragon
Daylight Warrior - level 50 - @silent-knight
Promethean - level 45 - @Fu Leng
Dr Zweistein - level 50 - @Dr Zweistein
Terratron - level 50 - @Maximum Prime
Grevian - level 50 - @Korvek (I presume... or is it @Korvek2?)
Dark Blue/Brazen Hussy - level 50 - @kiss of death
But it wouldn't hurt to have a few 'backups'... last time I signed up for a badge-farm, only four of the 6 people who signed up actually came *looks pointedly at Fu Leng* and of those four, one arrived almost an hour late... *throws silent-Knight a sideways look*
So, yeah, anybody else who wants in are welcome to sign up as backups should anyone fail to turn up on time.
(Note to self... make sure to set my alarm-clock, since at this point, failing to turn up would be REALLY embarassing. >_> -
Okay, the team so far:
Vrykola - level 45 - @BlackDragon
Daylight Warrior - level 50 - @silent-knight
Promethean - level 45 - @Fu Leng
Dr Zweistein(love that name, btw) - level 50 - @Dr Zweistein
Terratron - level 50 - @Maximum Prime
Two slots remaining... and apparently enough 50's that we don't have to worry too much about a level deficiency. -
Okay, villains, time to finally score that elusive Visionary badge... after having lost the old Rularuu-spawning Naylor-mission to an... 'accident', I've now worked my way up to a new one - Efficiency Expert Pither's 'Rescue Olivia Darque' mission - which is, hopefully, a bit harder to fail than the old one...
Either way, it can and will spawn Overseers - with the right size team. Which is where you merry badge-hunters comes in.
It'll take a team of at least 5-6, preferably more, to spawn decent numbers of bosses. 4 is the absolute minimum.
Mision's a go-go at 7 PM friday the 9th. Go ahead, sign up - and don't forget to leave level, name of character, and most importantly, global handle.
PS: If anyone who wants to join in has Naylor's shadow-shard mission, we can try to run that instead - lower level foes, easier to kill in a hurry. That, however, requires the mission-holder to be willing to run the risk of mission failure, should someone accidentally 'rescue' Riker and then leave him to die at the hands of a spawned-for-8 mob... -
Aheheh... sorry I didn't show up - just picked up Neil Gaiman's "Marvel 1602" on the way home from work, and forgot all about, well, basically everything. ^_^ I take it you didn't manage to gather a team anyway, though?
-
I need this on my Blaster, Heat Fulcrum - level 35. My global is @BlackDragon.
But d'ya really think you can get the necessary team-size together by tonight?
