The less detail, the better, a Suit is fine just as some kind of tights as long as they're not armoured with chains, any kind of possible freakin detail, shoulder pads as detailed as they came, fully WHITE colored and with the most graphical intensive aura on...

Don't worry, it's just the suit, not a fan of auras at all, and I'll use the Tech-Helm for the raid, and switch over to my Hat for the end photo when we finally defeat it.

Tri-Form Warshade Guide

The best Warshade guide out there in my opinion.

My current Controller, Hawkshaw, is Mind/FF, but I also did a build test with Mind/Storm during the RV-event before Issue 7 went live.

I found that to be an enjoyable powerset, once you learnt how to effectively control some of the more 'enthusiastic' Secondary powers. I had a Powers/Slots build at one point, so I'll dig around and see if I still have it.

I'd agree with Brighteyes. It's the villains who have the right ideals, but have got the logic twisted up at some point on the way, that have the most 'effect' on me when reading.

In reply to Plight:

i.) Probably my 1-2-3 attack chain (Power Bolt, Power Blast, Power Burst) six-slotted for damage (these were pre-ED days, but still gives a tangible mini-boost nowadays) coupled with Targeting Drone. I was a single-target blaster, and still am. I knew that focusing on AoE was likely to result in more bad situations than good.

ii.) I was clued up on aggro, but I had a nasty habit of forgetting I even had Cloaking Device, and even when it was used, it seemed to lose a lot of its effectiveness after Issue 5, which was when I hit those later levels

iii.) Not going to argue there, just a matter of opinion at the end of the day.

My personal vote is also for an 'Ultimate' style. I don't feel it's there to replace GG or anything, it's just, as Ironclad put it, a nice twist.

There's still going to be the 616 GG, and still people, including myself who will attend (from time to time in my case anyways)

EDIT: Also...is there any particular technical reason why the IRC server can't be used for both? (Obviosuly letting people know when it's 616/Ultimate to avoid confusion)

As a sort of 'acting' leader, I say play the character you most enjoy. Also, as we go further in-game, the levelling will slow, and you might be able to switch between the two each week.

Okay, as I have the *Cryo Freeze Ray*, (and the Crey pistol, but let's forget that) am I eligible for the Blaster-but-I-happen-to-have-Holding team?

I have a lv50 En/Dev Blaster, and obviously didn't have Build Up due to my secondary, but I never took Aim from the primary either.

I don't think I suffered as a result, I was still the last man standing in most of the missions during the 30-50 level range, and could take down enemies with relative ease, and still can post-ED.

All I'm saying is, although it's a ncie addition, it's far from being essential.

I've been thinking about this all day, and managed to come up with an 'Ultimate' Max, so I'll chat to Z on MSN later to discuss.
