Which is one of the few areas that's completely closed off unless you have that pack. Actually I think it might be the ONLY area in the game that's closed off unless you have the associated pack.
So, yeah, get the GvE, that way the whole game is opened up to you, and you'll also get to see the Zombie Boy Band once in a while! -

No, you weren't. There were plenty of us speculating that that was Calvin Scott, leader of the resistance, which should have meant 'signature costume' that was unavailable to players.
If that IS Calvin Scott, they'll need to do some explaining for why he looks like a completely different person. -

There are two ways you can deal with anger... a constructive way, or a destructive way. Some people want to bash on the devs for lack of information or "misleading" information. I too am upset about the lack of GR information. But do you know what I did instead of being destructive? I constructed my own device to keep my mind occupied... the Undrn3t, which ties in with Going Rogue. Sure the devs may never use the concept, but I think it's pretty cool and it's a CONstructive addition to the unofficial CoH community's "lore".
So.... how about everyone upset does something CONstructive with their anger instead of DEstructive? -
I think the people getting upset about this "leak" coming and not being explained for "so long" need to settle down.
It was people like this, who were ready to grab their pitchforks and torches, that made Cryptic clam up tight for YEARS after Jack made loose statements about future plans haphazardly.
If you keep pulling out the pitchforks and torches, that could only cause one thing to happen... they clam up again and you get even LESS information in the future.
Why risk it? Do you really want that to happen? I don't think so. -

I have made two forum avatars for anyone that wants to have an "official" Undrn3t avatar. One is square and the other one is just a round cropped version of the square one.
Needless to say I'm not very happy with how it looks rounded... but it's there if anyone wants it. They are all the same size and format as the official GR avatars.
You'll note that I "cleverly" put the Resistance avatar INSIDE of my Undrn3t avatar. -
Hey.... je saist... so you know of any channels that allow people to talk across the whole server and JUST the whole server?
Not Local. That's only within X number of feet from where you're standing.
Not Broadcast. That only within that zone.
Not Request. That's only Broadcast with a different color.
Not global channels. They are GAME-wide and can include people that are playing on any server.
We have every OTHER type of channel... so why is it that we don't have a general SERVER-wide channel when we have a channel for every other level?
The first and only server-wide channels I see so far are the Market and Arena channels, which are intended to a specific purpose. On top of that, they aren't even enabled by default, you have to go into your setting to turn them on.
So what's wrong with wanting a third channel that is server-wide... to go along with Local and Broadcast that's automatically added to one of your tabs every time you create a new character?
I think that Team and Local chat should be by default in the bottom pane, and Broadcast and this proposed Server channel should be by default in the top pane. -
A server-wide "broadcast" channel is what I've been wanting for some time. This would fit the bill.
