It was happening again the surges of energies, Light then Dark, then dark and light again. It was overwhelming Vondor he gazed at the Perez park gate only imagining what was causing such a commotion that the entities of light had to intervene at such an astounding rate. This is when he began to chant.
Silver noticed his partner starting to glow from the ancient incantations that he was saying. He would continue to do so till he felt he was adequately protected by the light shield radiating from is body. Silver well knew once his partner was ready he would attack, with or with out him by his side. Silver just waited patiently checking his ammunition and assortment of gadgets.
Vondor finally reached a peak energy level and, slowly drew his katana. The monster still not through the gate had weakened it in many places and ruptured it in several others. As Vondor gained speed on his approach to the gate he planed to vault through a hole in the concrete near the top of the door.
Silver was quick to follow his friend, Vondor was not particular about explaining why he would attack when he did. But most of the time it was ideal or something was happening that could not be ignored.
As they both went through the hole they came to upon battle field of 4 heroes. There was clockwork, a cyborg, a tanker, and an English hero of a sort.
Immediately as Vondor entered the battleground, he sensed them the energies. They were appearing at regular intervals helping and hindering the heroes with no particular order and reason. He tried to cast the entities out of his mind and focus on the battle at hand.
Silver had jumped to a ledge above the battle and was targeting the monstrosity with his goggles. He projected no weak points and immunities to almost any element on earth.
Vondor disregarded the energy for the time being, he figured the problem was the giant monster taking the four heroes with ease. As he ran up to the hulking being he swung his katana in an overhead arch directly onto the things back. The attack that would of easily cleaved even the most armored freakshow in half, reverberated off with a dull thud. The creature turned to him from the fist fight that he was having with the tanker, he prepared to swipe at him. Before his hand made contact a bullet collided with it sending it in the opposite direction. That was all the time Vondor needed he raised his katana and with a sharp movement swung it in an arch that would disembowel the creature. Again the same reverberating thud and this time Vondor tripped on a piece of debris. As the creature prepared to stomp franticly tried to get out of the way. -
Vondor was meditating in his chamber when, he heard Silver yell something from the other room. At first he paid no attention to his partner.
Vondor I really think this is important! Silver yelled banging on the door to his room
You do know I am meditating Vondor replied quite terse
Vondor Silver said in a very serious tone I believe it can wait
Knowing that his friend only got serious when there was important goings on in Paragon City, and they threatened its citizens. He removed his thoughts from his meditation and began to put on his costume. He personally hated his attire being called a costume, but he accepted it as a custom on this planet. It consisted of a hood, and a cowl that when looked directly upon gave the illusion that he had no eyes or any facial features of any kind. He wore a skin tight long sleeve shirt; the pattern was one of red camo, and stripes of black. The red dye used on the garment was disturbingly blood red. His hood and cowl also consisted of the same blood red color. Hit pants were baggy with a camo pattern similar to the one on his shirt. Only visible to those who looked was his sheath, holstered in it was a katana from his home world. He got up and opened the door to his almost comic looking friend.
On the other hand his friend (Silver Haze) had a sort of comic look to himself. His jet black spiky hair appeared to be held in place by cement, for it never moved or changed shape. His attire was a different story altogether he wore a pair of black goggles with the center of the eyepieces an odd lime-green tint, making it seem that he had an enormous pair of green eyes. Upon further inspection you could make out the red lines that flowed under the surface of the lenses, happened to be an advanced targeting system of his won creation. He wore a tight fitting white long sleeve shirt with an electron pattern running over it; the sleeves were tucked into his large banned gloves that appeared to be armored. His pants were baggy with the same electron pattern and his boots matched his gloves. Although he preferred not to carry unless necessary he had assault rifle that, It was obviously of his design and had several components that looked quite dangerous. He had it strapped to his back at the moment, with a look of determination on his face.
There is a problem in Atlas Park silver said
Although a problem in Atlas Park was a lady being mugged by some crooks, it was nothing that was necessary to disturb Vondor while he was meditating.
As Silver headed for the door Vondor said Will I get a briefing on the way Captain he responded with the sarcasm obvious.
Silver looked back with a glint in his smile If you can keep up and with that silver jumped out the nearest window, and bounded along his boots absorbing the shock
Vondor followed suit but instead of jumping he began to run at a superhuman speed along side his partner.
As silver filled him in on the events that had happened so far Vondor began to realize hoe big of a deal this was. He had seen the gates in Atlas Park, anything that could even dent those monstrosities was defiantly deserving of their attaetion.
and there are 2 heroes who plan to engage it when it brakes through the gate silver replied. He was distracted by Vondor as he halted in mid stride and his head turned in the direction of a tall sky scraper. He remained trained on that building for the next minute then he shook his head and looked in the direction of the Perez Park gate.
Vondor had been having Deja-Vu many times lately; he kept feeling good and evil energy sources all over Paragon City. He would notice them long enough for him to make a lock but the thought patterns were erratic and as soon as he found them they usually disappeared. He disregarded them as anomalies of the planet, but he always had the feeling that he was being watched
As both of the heroes stood near the entrance to the Perez park gate Silver asked the person who looked in charge Can we be of any help.
He appeared to be surprised by the two heroes sudden and quiet arrival. As the spiky haired gentleman gave a hand to the man to shake, while his partner surveyed the two heroes next to the gate. -
A hero who chose not to engage in the battle was sitting upon a building in Atlas Park. She had watched the progression of the battle from start to end. She became interested in what was going on when she noticed a congregation of heroes at the top of the Atlas memorial. She knew something wasnt right when they both engaged each other and many odd and new things happened. Throughout the progression of the battle she had watched as the agents of light and dark were killed off by the opposing side one by one. What interested he was a light agent had carried a needle before her death. When she was destroyed in the bright flash of light, the needle remained. It was not noticed thorough the progression of the fight. She had kept an eye on it just in case it was used or noticed.
When the final hero in Atlas Park was salyed (a clockwork) she flew down to the syringe. As she picked it up she noticed a label on the back of it, ADVANED HEALING MICRO-BODYS it read. She looked a few yards away to a fallen hero he had red camo on and was laying on the ground in a crumpled position. She had an idea. As she flew over to the hero she rolled up his sleeve revealing the red skin underneath. As she tried to stick the needle in his rist the skin wouldnt give way she had to apply some force before it would penetrate deep enough to hit a blood vesicle. She injected the whole syringe into his skin at a measured rate.
It took the microbodys a moment to get used to the blood stream, before they shot off thought the vesicles in search of damaged skin and tissue. When they came into contact with either of the problems they would begin to reshape their DNA according to what needed to be replaced and continue to reproduce the needed substance till the DNA had filled its goal as the new cell. In the creatures brain they would replace the matter but the thoughts and memories stored in the old one were lost, essentially the new brain would know how to breathe, how to walk who he was but nothing else. All of his memories stored in the left side of his brain were schreaded by the claw. Therefore he would retain all of his factual knowledge while his memories and creative thoughts would be gone. Although that all the memories and thought patterns were gone he still had the same character and attitude as the old Vondor. This process of mending the fallen hero took a total of 6 hours. The rest of the microbodys would then head to the heart and send a jolt of fresh blood to get the body back and working again. The patron had to stay asleep for a total of 12 hours before his body was prepared to wake up from death.
As Vondor opened his eyes and looked around he noticed that he was one Earth. That was good this is where he felt this is where he should be. He got up and looked for his sword he found one beside him and looked at it, it was a good blade and would have to work. He sheathed it he felt like he needed to go to the airport, not knowing why. He flew off in the direction of that airport with a curious gaze around him, as he saw that most of Atlas Parks former glory was in ruin. -
A nearby hero was watching the fight in awe at the two warriors, as the ferociously fought the battle. In the final engagement they both made lethal blows to each other. And as soon as it had begun it was over. The one with the claws disappeared in a flash of light while, while the katana wielding hero fell to the ground with a sickening thud. He didnt get up; the claws had penetrated a lethal percent of his brain and shredded his medulla oblongata. Not even his alien body functions and rate of regeneration could save him. His hand was still gripping the hilt of the light katana, that was fading and eventual went out. He had died facing his match and was honored in defeat as well as victory.
And it is as such that Vondor and Silver Haze were destroyed in the battle to rid Paragon City of a great evil. -
The doors slid open and a man walked in.
He was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Nothing about him sugested "Super Hero" exept for the gloves he wore, which were constantly changing shape and color.
He held up a peice of paper and said "It told me to come here" -
He reached out for the hilt of the sword and grabbed it; the surge of power from the blade was enormous. It was slightly aglow with a streak of light running across it every once and a while. It was perfectly balanced with a deadly sharp blade. He looked up his eyeless face looking directly at Mr. Claws. The agent looked up and noticed the blade; he realized that he would have to fight like in old times. His immortality would not save him against a weapon of pure light.
As Vondor crouched into a fighting stance katana in front of him in with a double handed grip he prepared himself for the fight, he had been trained all his life and this was where it was all going to come into play. He was still weakened from his incantations and an earlier encounter with the agent but he would fight to the death.
Mr. Claws got up and slowly moved in Vondors direction. When they faced one and other all else was silenced all either of them could see was each other and their weapons. His 12 inch claws slowly extended form his hands and he also crouched.
They stayed there waiting for the other to strike first, to betray some flaw in their form and it remained.
You shall not defeat me demon Vondor rasped -
Vondor awoke with a massive headache, as he sat up he momentarily forgot where he was. Out of instinct he reached for his katana but could only find an empty holster. The it hit him he was in Atlas Park. The incantations, the dark agents, the sword the sword his one and only. It was forged by his forefathers and passed down in his family it was gone.
Just then he saw a little girl, who was being charged by Mr. Claws he rushed to her side not sure how to help her without his sword. She seemed oblivious to the frantic madman sprinting towards her; she was content drawing on her piece of paper. Vondor came to her side and began to defend her when an enormous tiger jumped out of the paper and took Mr. Claws by surprise.
He stood there in open-mouthed shock, as the tiger held off the dark agent. -
The robot was silent contemplating the answer for a moment.
Then it said with a tone of sadness It was Anthony Haze
And with that the robot jumped off of the building experimenting with the elemental powers of the wand on some Crey who had escaped the ziggurat.
Just then he caught sight of Vondor, streaking across the park. He saw him with his glowing sword attack the dark agent. He ran quickly to his fallen comrades side, twirling the rod in front of him and arching it, he sent a gust of wind that picked up the dark agent and carried him to the top of atlas statue. He grabbed Vondor and checked his pulse, he was alive but barely, and started to leap off, but Mr. Pain was right there. He twirled the staff above himself and sent a lighting bolt at the agent which missed. Mr. Pain was looking at the staff with mild amusement was he charged forward. Silver laid Vondor down on a park bench and prepared himself for the battle. -
The wound on Vondors arm was noticeable but not enough to distract him from the dark agent who was rushing him. He now understood that he could not kill these things on the terms that he was used to. As the man ran toward him claws at the ready, Vondor sprinted away at super speeds hoping that the dark agent couldnt track his progress. When he reached a place where he felt that he would be safe he began his incantations, but this time his energy was focused on his sword. Each minute the sword grew brighter and brighter, until it was glowing white. He knew only one strike would be permitted before the magic destroyed the sword. Even with all of his training and all of his skills he wasnt sure if this would be enough to even harm one of the dark agents. But he knew exactly who he would go after.
As he entered the battle ground that was Atlas Park once again, he looked around for Ms. Hack She was already taken care of by clockwork with a flute. He noticed a dark agent jump onto a hero with a guitar and promptly kill her. He sprinted in the direction of the agent at superhuman speeds. Drawing the sword he jumped flying through the air he brought the sword down on the demons arm. It was destroyed in an explosion of dark energy. Not knowing if it would come back or what would come of it, he dropped to his knees losing his strength by the second from the spells which had took so much out of him. Then everything blacked out. -
To the extent that I can use a baseball bat The mechanical thing replied in a perfectly human voice
The shock on the little girls face was noticeable, when the android talked like any other human she had met.
Would you mind telling me how to? he asked -
Vondor was still kind of lost on what had just happed, the demon had dropped Ms. Hacks computer and it disappeared. Not to mention the demon in the at all was kind of out of place. He figured what was going on here was bigger than a simple fight of good versus the villains of paragon city. It had to be big top involve the devil himself to intervene, and for the side of good?
He noticed a train pop up out of nowhere and hit a dark agent he had seen earlier in the diner. He also saw a little girl who couldnt be older than nine, with a humanoid robot. As he was trying to comprehend what she was doing there with the mechanoid they were both blown away. Due to a grenade from yet another dark agent. He saw the mechanoid get up and start for the little girl, only to be jumped Mr. Knifes from behind. He rushed to the robots side, and sliced the attacker in the back. He fell off and laid there, by the time Vondor looked in the direction of the robot it was gone. He heard a noise behind him
Meanwhile the robot had grabbed the mysterious little girl, and jumped to the relative safety of the nearest skyscraper. He had enough time to check his power supply, 25% it read. -
At first the mechanical machine that was now silver, would have disregarded the rod as any other piece of scrap metal and debris. But there was something special about this one there was something good ash he bent down to pick up the rod, white light erupted from its tip. The surges of energy were enough to make almost any hero die instantly; he quickly released the rod only to find it stuck to his glove.
An extendable arm couldnt hurt silver thought looking at the strange, bar attached to his arm. His only main ideas of it were as a nuisance, before his power source ran out.
He got up and looked around for a demon; he found an obviously dark one over a helpless girl hero. He leap to the side of the demon gave him a punch that sent his sprawling and he got back up looking fairly annoyed as knifes shot out of his hands.
The hero behind him began saying something
