Another "trick" is, most people confuse thirst for hunger. If you think you're hungry, try drinking some water first before getting something to eat.

Finally, since you have a child and they probably want to get out of the house too, put them in a stoller and walk around the neigborhood. Get hubby to push. Walking for 20+ minutes 3 times a week (assuming it is a quick paced and not slow paced) will increase your cardio and improve your body's ability to process starch and sugar.

Missy makes me run if we go for a walk, and lately she isn't happy in the stroller. The kid has run damn near a straight mile before without really slowing down.

I think now that school's done it'll be better, but it's hard to go out for a jog when you're trapped at home with a 2 year old all damn day.

My baby has 7 bug bite on her elbow. Poor thing.

It was free fishing weekend here in Michigan today, so DJ, Missy, my mom and dad, and I all went out to a lake to fish and have a picnic. We had a good time. Missy swam, mostly. DJ caught the first, last, and most fish. I caught one fish, and...a turtle! I didn't hook him, but he was following my worm around, so I slowly reeled it up to the the boat, and when he nabbed the worm, I nabbed him with my hands.

Pretty painted turtle, and from counting the rings on his shell, about 13 years old. Sneaky devil. He also took a chunk out of my pinkie finger. My fingerprint will be a little..er...distorted for a while.

I remember most, but I usually do a reread within a week to catch more, and continually read over and over. I generally cycle through all of my books every 3 months or so.
