I'm sure in the next few days we'll know whether or not pushing the draft date back is going to need to be done or not. Since another team formed, some players will be removed from the draft pool to fill said team and it also requires more sign-ups. I'd guess it'll be pushed back unless you see a flood of sign-ups or see a discussion about lowering the amount of people on teams to start out.

I think people would be less likely to sign up after an initial draft. It wouldn't matter if teams would be filled, but personally I'd like the first to be sufficient either way. If that means 12-man teams or whatever we end up going with on the fly.

We still have a lot of sign-ups missing that seem likely, not counting the random people most of us don't know.

I thought the idea was to lay out an outline and play it by ear, since we didn't know what was going to happen, exactly. Either way; we'll need many more sign-ups since out of the initial draft pool many don't actually show or stick. Hopefully more word is put out to kind of speed this up, but time will tell.

It does look like putting a hold on the draft would be for the best but it's also true that a lengthy lull will also drop interest from people who had already "committed". Hopefully it works out.
