Travel in an ever widening circle around your arrow and look for a hole in the ground. I've seen some quite a distance from the door. There should be a hole in the ground that opens into a cave that leads to the door.

I have heard other people trash this idea other places, but I would love LOVE to be able to bet on the monkey fights....
