  1. Congratz Em and everyone at Fusion Force, way to represent Triumph! Glad to see that even after 6 years you guys are still going strong. I've always had a great time working w/ Fusion Force peeps over the years on various tasks & events on our server. It's been an honor and a priviledge- keep on fighting the good fight!

Was that during the Pre-I9 Hami days? I remember we were at a point when they were being run daily by a rotation of some of the raid leaders during that time, like Sun Splitter, Crockpot, and Mangagirl (Noah Bailey), just to name a few. Boy, did I build up a nice collection of HOs from those raids- good times!
  3. I don't think that tactic is really necessary. When you have the whole main mass concentrating on one green mito and the melee team concentrating on one yellow, I think dividing the green mito healing between 2 mitos is more than enough for either team to take out that first green or yellow. And once one mito goes down, whether it's the green or yellow that goes down first, the mito clearing gets significantly easier. with Virtue's method, you are dividing the mito healing even further, but you're not trying to take down a green while the yellows are being worked on, you're just trying to distract them. I'd rather have the greens fall (while the yellows fall) to decrease the mito healing instead of distracting the green mitos to spread out their healing. That's just my preference though, either method seems to work.
  4. It looks like if you're going to attempt to go after Hami by a cell death through 2 mito blooms, you have to make it count on the first attempt when all your nukes and buffs have been deployed and the effects are still going strong. It's a shame that we got hami to almost a sliver of health, but we just fell short of taking him down. Once we were forced to reset and hami was given time to recupe w/ 2 sets of mitos to fortify him, there's really no way to pick up where we left off to contend w/ them. It may not even be possible if we had a whole new set of nukes, which would highly be unlikely anyways. I wonder which would be worse to handle- 2 blooms on top of each other, or a yellow dawn, hehe. It was pretty awesome to see how far we were getting, though!

I'm not sure if I saw a call to deploy pets, but my suggestion would be to deploy any pets (Amy, Vanguard pets, PAs, imps, etc) right before the first call for nukes so that the pets can get buffed up and help damage hami faster. Also, if by chance you may experience some brief lag due to the deployment of the numerous nukes, atleast the pets will continue to attack. And if hami might disappear due to the lag and you can't target him (not sure if this would happen like in the pre-I9 raids), you can always target a pet to keep on attacking. The chemical burn nuke might also be worthwhile to deploy to debuff hami's defense and resistances.

Looking forward to another attempt at this, keep pushing forward, Triumph!
  5. I've been on hide as well, but I'll be coming out of the shadows soon..... w/ my new Sentai....... :-O

Ahh, yes- there was a time when I would maintain the record for Hami Raid deaths, and it would be announced all over broadcast, but that was in the days of the old Hami and we were still fledgling level 50s. Nowadays, Triumph is just too damn good- it takes work if you really wanna die at a Hami Raid!
  9. I saw your post in the scrapper forums- is this re-shceduled for May 2nd? I'd like to try and attend this, I think I'll be available for this date- I love using my scrappers! Problem is, I have so many, it's hard deciding on which one to pick! Also to verify- 6:30pm PST = 9:30pm EST? If so, this time is perfect for me. I'll keep an eye on the forums (my scraps are just full of criticals! )

  11. Nice, can't wait for us to try this!
I'll try to get a full set of the 3 nukes on each of my standard Hami toons for this just in case. (a pain, yes I know!)

    Let's do this!
  12. Hey Rhyn- there was a server that did a raid and killed Hami right from the get-go, ignoring all the blooms. It involved something like using the other nuke types (atleast the nuclear one, not sure about the 3rd one) and bombarding hami w/ them. I think there was a timing involved that was pretty critical, I think 2 waves of nukes, so some people had to save their nukes (or maybe use the bionukes on the first wave of nukes, then a different type of nuke at the 2nd call, or something like that). I think there was even a particular moment when all pets, even temp ones, were brought out. There should be a video of it somewhere on YouTube (I can't access it right now from work), but we should check it out. Even though we're only doing Cell Death after the 2nd bloom, it could give us some good tips to survive 2 blooms while we rush to take hami down.

btw- the mass death right after hami down was awesome! Talk about going toe to toe w/ the big guy until you both drop!
  13. I was on the scrapper team this time- and I didn't use (have) one EoE! I just hid behind Sun and let him take the brunt of everything, and everytime I died I just waited for Miki to rez me, haha! Actually, I only died during the 1st wave, which was a little rough but that's usual in the beginning. All the other waves after that I survived- SR may be a powerless secondary against Hami, but I'm a smart SR- woohoo!

    Great run once again Triumph!

    epic fail!
  16. Awesome raid as usual! We got stalled a little bit during the first run, but it didn't seem to phase anyone one bit- we just gathered back on the rock to reset and we pummelled ourselves thru the rest of the raid until Hami went down! Thanks for organizing it Yeesha and HKS!
  17. I should be able to make this, I'll make sure my rad/sonic is parked in the Hive. He's got the Devastation Hold proc slotted in all of his ranged attacks, so he's my best hami raiding toon, especially against the greens.
  18. count me in! I'll be watching this thread
