Okay, thanks for clearing these up.
  2. I've been wondering these for a while, but I'm not rich enough to actually try them myself (in case they won't work as I expect them to work).

    1) If I slot two different enhancements of the same set in two different powers, do I get the first set bonus for that set? (and generally, if I put enhancements of the same set in different powers, are they counted together?)
    2) If I slot two enhancements of the same type in a certain power, do I get the first set bonus?

Trial accounts can start their own one-member supergroups (at least I could back then in May 2009). They can't join other SGs, and I think they can't invite others to their own SGs either.

    Desperately NEED CoX replacment huh!
Yes I feel like that sometimes too

Don't unsubscribe - cutting off your CoX is probably unhealthy.

I feel that CoX just needs an expansion to make everyone happy.

If they slip in a CoX expansion and push it right then they would hear squeals of delight.

"Haha disregard that, I suck (at) CoX"
    Just had to say that.

CoX works well, and CoHaV isn't bad either - it's just the matter of opinion.

It appears to me that your English is that good that not only do you need not to apologize but some of us English players should be embarrassed. I am not quite English; that'll be my excuse; and I am going to stick to it!

Heh, thank you Just informed so that if mistakes happen later, I've warned you

It looks like that one takes you to the US site.

It really shouldn't be this hard to get an EU trial.

    [/ QUOTE ]
No, it should be made as easy as the US trial. I'm going to try if I could get a code for the trial from the German trial page (http://eu.plaync.com/de/trials/coh), since it looks a lot better than the UK version.

Edit: The German trial key site works perfectly. Please tell the others who are wondering the same thing to not use the UK site but instead the DE site (or probably the FR site).
  6. Yeah, now the account site is up again, thanks for that.

To the original problem: it seems that trial accounts cannot invite other to try the trial - I tried to follow the instructions, but the "Refer a friend" option was nowhere to be found. :/
  7. I'll check if that possibility is available as soon as the master account page lets me in, somehow it won't accept my login right now... weird.
  8. Hi everybody!

I'm wondering how one could get a regular EU trial key for CoH? I myself tried to get one through the NCsoft account registration - but I still got a US one. I managed to get a European trial key from my friend, though, and now I'm planning to buy a time card. However, my little brother would like to test the game as well, and of course on the EU server (so we and my friends could play together), but I cannot get the EU code anywhere.

The most logical place from where it should be found is the eu.cityofheroes.com site. The front page has a trial account banner on the right side, which redirects to http://eu.plaync.com/eu/trials/coh. That page has only a link back to the main EU CoH page. It's a closed circle between these two pages and no possibility of actually getting a code.

So, where could I get one? :/
