I tend to agree w/BaB as Issac...
But Sexy Jay as Charo...
Considering the amount of female toon attire he's developed for us...

All I can think is that your e-mail host may of stopped it before it hit your actual account or it's how you have things set in your filter.
I know I got it properly, but Thunderbird was wondering if it was spam or not...
Got to love modern technology...

With the announcement of the Wedding Event
[/ QUOTE ]
What is this Wedding Event you speak of?
[/ QUOTE ]
/e facepalms...
Here Is everything you need to know.... -
I'm not gonna directly quote from the newsletter, but here are the basics....
1) The actual Wedding event
It is gonna be on the Test Server, on Thursday Starting at 5PM CST. 3 groups, up to 100, are gonna be invited and each event looks to last an hour. The other V-Day stuff is gonna be on the regular Servers...
2) The V-Day events from last year are gonna be active. Those are in Pocket D.
3) New V-Day events are gonna be available from contacts in Atlas and Mercy that tie into the wedding, I think.
Hope that helps.

This is one post I will say /signed to.
Outside of the two quibbles mentioned earlier (thanks LH for the clarify on the veil), I see no down sides to paying $10 for this optional pack. Heck, Like another poster on this thread, I even set it up for my girlfriends account as a V-Day gift. I know full well she'll be able to use the bridal parts for a couple of her concept characters.
And to be quite honest, I've played CoX for over 18 months now. I've bought CoH ($30), CoV Gift set (at a cheap price, something like $10 or $15), GvE upgrade ($10), the Wedding pack ($10), and 5 various transfers/renames ($50). That's what? $110 - $115 dollars not including the monthly fees and/or pre-pay cards I've bought? I'd be spending that much two to three WoW expansions on top of the monthly fees. Why for all that is right in the world is everyone griping?
There's been better support and communication w/the Devs, better backend support, and there's a nice amount of stuff coming we know we won't have to pay extra for. I personally don't have any issues paying for this little extra content.
Is the actual fee for this high? maybe, but it fits in line w/the other services NCSoft is offering in support of CoX. This is some nice optional fun. If you don't care for it, fine. Just look at it for what it is and let go of the hate.

Is there any way to have a white veil and not white hair?
[/ QUOTE ]
This and the fact the Bridal top and Gloves don't have second color control to match w/that Skirt options.
Otherwise, I don't see a problem paying $10 for this unique set.
Who knows, if there is an updated GvE packaged release, it might get included there...

The Deflated Ego IO set seems to have a bug, the 'tohit Debuff/Recharge' IO is giving a tohit Buff. I filed a bug report.
Note: the IO is in Darkest Night, an autohit debuff.

Actually, I believe there is a problem with ALL the To Hit Debuff (and Defense Debuff) recipes that have a THD component.
I have a couple of Defs and Trollers ready to use Deflated Ego and Touch of Lady Grey (As well as a BS Scrapper ready to use Exploited Vulnerability Defense Debuff). And all of the THD elements are showing up as '+ToHitBuff' instead of '+ToHitDebuff' (or so I would think...). I know I bugged the issue when I first saw it.
I've never seen an actual notice that this problem is on the known issues list, but the thing is, I want to use these IO sets! And it is kinda slowing the play on the Characters I have these intended for.
Can something be done about it?

And, as I said, if trial accounts can't send /t or emails, the next cheapest option is to appear in AP and spam Broadcast.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which at that point is easier to ignore and report because it's on broadcast. For the reason a lot of players will complain with in minutes of said spammer trying to do it.
Thank you for the time... -
I just noticed the same issue with Deflated Ego as well.
I have Level 14s of both the Full To Hit Debuff and the THD/Recharge IOs and both are listing as +ToHitBuff in the light blue effect wordings. Even though the Set is listed as a to Hit Debuff.
Trust me, I would love to run then on the Trick Arrow/Archery Def I have.
Bugged it. thankfully I didn't slot the crafted one yet.

I'm gonna try and make this as to the point as I can... It's a little late for me right now...
I have been playing CoX for over 15 months now. I started w/just CoH to get a feel for the game and then got CoV 'cause I needed the base access (I picked up the Collectors of CoV for a cheap price). I also paid the $10 for the GvEgoodies. To say I maybe got involved in CoX at a real good time in the game's life is true. BUT, I don't feel I deserve any kind of special compensation now that the single game accounts are getting the full access treatment now.
I have been working retail for the last 3 years or so and come to find the devaluation of and/or replacement product a constant in the retail marketplace. (and if any of those complaining don't believe this isn't a retail service... think again...) All this is is a way to expand the player base and make unsold product move a little bit better. Because consider that GvE essencially replaced the single purchase CoH/Cov boxes. Now if someone manages to pick up a single box, they are getting twice the game for the price.
And think of one other thing...
NCSoft is timing this with in weeks of I11 going live. I look at this as a way to bolster their player base considering what other pay services offered (GvE stuff, Transfer, and Rename services) at this time.
If anything I have mixed feeling about this transition. I worry about how long NCSoft will support CoX. Along with that worry is a sense that the game as a whole will get better. All I hope for is that there will still be 3 issues released next year for no cost other than subscription.
And one other thing...
Please give them a little bit of time to get things straight. When their ready, they will tell us what's going to happen. Gawd, sometimes I really dislike this age of "the masses wanting everything right now".

Now if the Devs could maybe arrange something for next years Wiz World Chicago, I'd be inclined to attend, but as things are right now, any kind of extra travel is just not feasiable right now...
