Well the scrappers can work in conjunction with the tanks and thats my intent actually, I asked for some kind of taunt so that if a GM heads in, that the scrapper as a last resort can challenge the GM and lead it away from the crowd.

If the choice for me is my own death, or the GM piling into the main group, Ill choose my own death anyday and to that end I've reslotted taunt

i've done some tweaking to the raid costume and so far the best I can put together is all yellow with black trim on the body parts using the "sharp" pattern.

if anyone has a better combo I can try, please let me know what the layout is

also, have been working on the briefing, just need to get some artwork and I can put the thing together!

trollers are definately the priority, hence setting up a perimiter team to look after you guys

unfortunately to enter the hive you need to be level 45 or higher Bucky.

if you check the other thread, raids are held every fortnight, starting at 7pm on friday

next raid is due on the 19th

lol, well on the briefing front, do you have a battle plan as such for the entire raid, from PA drops right through to the end I can read through?

well I was thinking traffic cone red / white or perhaps black / yellow hazard tape style

Briefing:
I spent some time today doing some thinking about the raid overall, how the perimiter is going to work and the overall objectives. I'll be putting together a small mission briefing that covers what the guys have put together so far in flash, so that for future raids everyone can view it, understand the colors etc.

New toys!
I'm testing the effectiveness of each of the Warburg missile powers against the GM's in the area, looking for Endurance, HP and how much it annoyes them as primary factors.

Costume
To make the perimiter stand out more, I was toying with the idea of having a unique raid costume, so that perimiter members can serve as a marker of where people Shouldn't be during the phases of the raid.

Activities
I'm also willing to assist and help run evenings to assist in badge hunting for Vanguard accolades for hold toons, temp powers that are raid supporting and of course comments, suggestions and any community actions to support the raid would be welcome ones.

I'm glad there is so much support for this idea

Streekz, daft question but would you want us to team with you before raid, so you can directly target for the scrapper team without us having to macro target through you, might make damaging mito's slightly quicker, then we form perimiter at holding phase?

I'd like this to work as smoothly and well organised as possible, there is already a lot to do on the raids, so i dont want to add any further complications

There was indeed, after the GM went down and we setup to intercept anything else incoming I thought it might be a good idea for future raids, hence the suggestion here!

Thanks guys, I'm going to SO up my challenge power for this as a GM hitting the trollers pre 50% is as you guys know extremely dangerous for all of us!

With tonight's raid making it 3-0 straight in the eternal Union Vs. Hami. battle, I must first off congratulate and say thankyou to Lost, Raziel, Streekz01 and Dark for their continuing work to organise these raids!

Without getting into detail, we had a mishap where a GM was almost dragged into the controller group during the hold phase, to prevent this in future and further guarentee that raids succeed I'd like to assemble the following.

Perimiter team(s):
Consisting of 8 scrappers with their individuial challenge powers. Each perimiter team takes part in the Mito clearing as usual, but during the hold phase perimiter team is to form a circle around the baseline of the Hami Crater.

Purpose: if a GM attempts to enter the circle, said perimiter team can taunt the GM to draw it away from central group, attack if nessecary and alert on raid channel as nessecary to incoming. Please note: this role is highly likely to incur debt as the idea is to keep the GM away from the troller group, even at the cost of personal debt.

The team will also serve as a perimiter marker, allowing raid leaders to ask people to move outside the perimiter team radius for safety.

Any suggestions, or volounteers for the next few raids would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt pick any travel powers for my KT / SR Scrapper, instead I went with powers that allowed me to mop up those pesky ambushes rather than trying to run from them and it seems to work nicely. Takes a bit to get about using Quickness and Sprint ( took quickness for the free recharge on powers and the movement buff but didnt slot it for obvious reasons ) with jingle jets and the jump pack helping out where needed, but if there is ever a need to get anywhere fast, you can pop elude!

ok, lets get the raid out of the way first and maybe set this up for midweek? Would Tuesday night be ok for everyone?

well I dont mind running through this about 8 ish tonight, but I seem to recall that there were more people wanting this badge and it being short notice.

Besides, us vs Kronos is going to be a short fight with 3 of us, have to see who turns up!

Ok Unionites, with the impending Hamidon Raid on the 5th, I've played through the relevant arc and now have the pleasureable task of bringing in Jack Firenze, meaning that straight after, its Kronos Titan time!

I'm thinking of running through this either Wednesday or Sunday night, if anyone has any preference for either let me know.
