I have been trying out various combos of Staff Fighting. What is everyone's general idea of the best pairings? So far I have tried Staff/Regen, Staff/Dark and currently Staff/Fiery Aura.

What secondary do you think has the best synergy?

I've been away from the game for a while, but I am a 5 year vet. I have recently become smitten with the Corruptor archetype. I recently started comparing two of them and I am now quite confused.

I have read some very bad things about the performance of the electric corruptor and some great things about the fire corruptor, so I decided to make both of them and compare/contrast. This is where my confusion started.

I chose Kinetics as the secondary for both so that I would have the same base to compare. I am a bit confused as to why the electric primary is so shunned. It's damage output is nowhere near as awful as I had been led to believe...at least so far (maybe that's the issue?). So far both toons are just shy of level 20 (electric at 19, fire at 17).

I have slotted the first three primary powers in Electric with damage and a single endurance modifier. I also slotted the heal with 5 slots so far (1 acc, 2 health and 2 endurance mods). I picked up hasten also on both toons. Both toons are slotted primarily the same except for the fact that no endurance mods can be slotted in the fire primary powers of course. I have zero issues with endurance drain on the elec, and very minimal on the fire. Every heal renews health and endurance on both toons, and almost every attack does the same on the elec.

This is where my confusion comes in...after just a minute or so, I am rolling along with 90-140 percent increase on damage (I'm ignoring recharge for the moment). I am not using leadership at the moment (although I did play around with it when first building the toons to see how much it would boost damage). Once my damage is up, the Elec mows through baddies just like the fire does (just a tiny bit slower)...but of course, my health and endurance bar barely ever moves on the elec and neither does the teams (constant spam of the heal with the endurance mods in place). They love it.

So the question is this...why has electric gotten such a bad rap? Where there nerfs or fixes while I was away? I've been out for like 8 months. Has so much changed in that time period? What are your thoughts on the elec/kin and fir/kin corr's??

I am new to the Brute class. I have played the game for several years, but just got around to rolling a brute. I am currently testing two, both claws as primary (both for theme and endurance reasons). It is the secondary that I have questions regarding.

I am testing fiery aura and willpower. I was wondering which one had better synergy with claws. What are the pro's and cons of both? By the way, I am not interested in a PvP build as I don't do it frequently. I'd appreciate some opinions and facts. I am looking for damage potential and survivability mostly.
