All sorts of craziness.
You only need dual core... no you need quad core... this brand sucks... no wait it rocks...
Don't build prebought they use cheap stuff.
No buy prebuilt prices are dropping due to crappy economy and they are cheap as hell.
Don't use Vista, vista is fine.
Use this brand vid card NO this one, get 1 G vid card mem... shut up fool 1 G is ridiculous and over priced... she only needs 500K MB vid card memory is fine.
AMD processors are fine. NO they BLOW and it is worthwhile to pay for Intel.
Syn's head usually explodes about here.

I've built 2 of my PCs from the ground up and let me tell you what I know from my experiences.
-Generally it's considered better to build your PC. You have better control over what is in it, you don't have to put up with so much superfluous bundled software and you get a better price at the end of it all.
-The PCs that I have put together have lasted longer than any of my pre-built ones. Granted, those were PCs built in the 90's and mine were made from new parts in the 00's, but it's still comparable in my eyes.
-The experience is something to cherish. I got a sense of accomplishment and great satisfaction in seeing my first PC start up for the first time.
-The knowledge you gain from the assembly can help you in trouble shooting in case something goes wrong... Instead of having to send the whole thing out to the company and waiting a very long time to get it back, you can fix it yourself and get it working in a much shorter time.
If you are considering assembling your first PC, I suggest buying online from Newegg.com. It's the only place i trust for my computer parts.

That's Newegg.com.

Building a computer from scratch can be overwhelming for someone thats not familiar w/ working with them. I recently completed a class project of building a computer w/ a $1000 budget (well 2 months ago) and I had used newegg.com and tigerdirect.com as my sources. I must say that it is WAY cheaper to build it than buying a gaming computer off the shelf at Best Buy. -

*Standing over dead Blaster*
"OMG! How do you have so much resistance to energy damage!"
"Erm... I have 1.57% Resistance to Energy Damage <.<" -

It bother me that my chat bubble is not red when my lackey or I stray away from each other. I dont like to read too much into it that -- "Hey! I'm too far away from my lackey!"

XP Taken Away Furthermore
Server: Inifnity
Zone: Nerva Archipelago
Character name: Heat Stroke'
Time: 1am EST
Location: Mission Unknown
Mission: Its the one where you lead Mu Mystics to statues while being ambushed by a bijillion Wailers
Mission Contact: Hell I Dont Know
Bug Description: This didn't happen to me but it happened to my girlfriend's toon (@Mrs. Trance). She was TL 33 getting ready to level to TL 34. She had to restart her computer due to computer becoming unstable from overclocking so she missed out on end mission bonus when she returned. Logged back and got the Large Inspiration Buffs when she walked out the mission door but no green up arrow. Went to Arbiter and she could not train. This is our 2nd occurence with this issue.

XP Was Taken Away After Disconnecting!
Server: Infinity
Zone: Nerva Archipelago
Character name: Trance. (@Trance)
Time: 1-2AM Wednesday EST
Location: In Mission Map during an 8-man Team
Mission: Can't Remember Wasn't My Mission
Mission Contact: Can't Remember Wasn't My Mission
Bug Description: I got DC'd in the middle of the mission while chatting between /Arena and /Team channels. I was TL 33 getting ready to level before DC'ing and I think it was at the very moment I was going to level my screen froze up and the CoV window thing that asks me what happened before I DC'd came up. I logged back on it DC'd me again when I was loading up the zone and the window came up again. I typed the conditions and then I restarted my computer. I log back on successfully and when I zoned in I had "NO BARS" and I was still TL 33 -- WHAT!? I didn't see the arrow up indicator that I level'd so I checked by the Arbiter to see if it was a glitch. No good. I started the mission with 3 other people the same level and by that time they're a level ahead of me and I'm back where I started when we joined up. Someone explain to me how this could happen and if anyone else know of this bug? It wasn't a mapserver it was a forced disconnection or something.

Name: Circle Of Villains
Currently Recruiting: We're a fairly active villaingroup here on the Infinity Server. We have quite a few veteran members that are very helpful to new players to the game daily. We're always recruiting and we're not very strict about being active. We remove inactive players as we welcome new players. Ever since they increased the villaingroup roster to 150 members from 75 we've been very lenient. We've been active for the past two years and we're currently ranked #27 in the server as of 11/15/2008.
RP Level: Circle Of Villains is RP-friendly.
Theme/Concept: Circle Of Villains does not have a set theme, but our villaingroup colors are black and white. Villaingroup base is powered by Arcane base items and the environment is Techish. Its a pretty nice mend between the two and we've just finished a major renovation of the base. Its very conveniant for everyone and easy to navigate with a lot of eye candy while exploring. Circle Of Villain provides a very large base with all teleporters to all zones, hospital, worktables, base and personal storage.
Activity: As I said before, we're fairly active. We have about 5-10 dedicated unique members that play nearly daily and about 10 other unique members that jump back and forth from hero and villainside. Villaingroup is mostly active from 3pm-1am EST. We also use Ventrilo with 25 slots to help communicate doing strike forces or normal teaming.
Requirements for Membership: There are no level requirements. We welcome anyone thats eager to have fun and learn. No limit to alts as of, yet.

I want the name "Trance". My Global Handle is @Trance, but someone has a toon by that name. All my toons are called Trance in some shape or form, but I have a good idea who has it. Most likely the guy on CoH Faces that everyone assumes is me <.<
And its NOT me. -
I have a PvP spec'd Thugs/Poison that I have equiped with Group Teleport. I don't use it often, though but its great to have in sticky situations. I get many questions why I would have it spec'd for PvP. I don't use this power to get my pets around quicker. Easy enough -- every two ports away transports my Thugs to me instantly.
I particularly use it to get out of Caltrops or any other powers that hinder me since my pets will turn stupid and try to run out of em' with lil' accomplishment. It gets the job done.
I find myself in some cases where I'll be in a team where we're fighting Knives and Caltrops are dished out and even when the mobs are killed we'd be tryin' to get out of the Caltrops for 2 minutes (exaggerated). I port myself and my pets into the Caltrops and again to snag the teammates to the otherside to safety.
Maybe others may have different uses, but just thought I'd share some benefits to having it in some situations.
