CoV is still not scheduled to come out before 2005. No, Issue #3 is not going to have anything to do directly with CoV, therefore, eh? They haven't said EARLY 2005, either. Just 'next year'.

Note that the current text of the special announcement does not say Thursday, it says "over the next several days" where the above poster has 'Thursday'.

Has anyone gotten ANY of the history badges?

I've clicked on all the 'known' plaques, including one that looks like it should be the 'Just say no' one, but no history badges.

Is there an NPC somewhere you must talk to, or the like?

It's been dev announced that 'rest' giving you the hold badges is a bug, 'immobilize' isn't supposed to be included.
