  1. Group Name: Paragon Paladins

Server/Game: Union / City of Heroes

Theme: Keeping the streets safe, one thug at a time.

Web page: None, yet, though that might soon change.

    Contacts: @Rhygar, @Sparkshot

Usual Activities: Missions, exploring the nature of reality as we know it.

    Other Activities: Chatting, planning.

Background & Structure: The more powerful/famous heroes fight the Rikti, or Praetorians. Those are true dangers, and the heroes who face them are true heroes, worthy of respect--but what about the ordinary citizens? The mother afraid to take her child down the street to the corner market because of muggers, thieves, rapists--to her, such dangers are almost more frightening than the world-wide dangers. The Paragon Paladins are the heroes who never forget the "little people", and they dedicate themselves to keeping the streets safe.

This isn't an easy life, by far--their home is not far from the sewers, and money is hard to come by for even the basic necessities--but their dedication never wavers.

Admission Notes/Requirements: New to role-play? We're for you. Consider MMO role-play easy as falling off a log? We're for you, too. Want to just hang out, chat, maybe do a mission or two with friends? Yep, we're for you, too. The main requirements are to have a sense of humor, a willingness to work together, and an enjoyment of the game. Everything else is icing on the cake.

All origins and most personality types accepted. Doesn't matter of, in-character, your character is a jerk--as long as, again in-character, she/he is willing to work with other Paladins for the common good.

  3. Global: @Rhygar

    Server: Union

Heroes: Rhygar--felinoid mutant from another dimension; bit of a jerk (a really big bit, admittedly), has a bit of a feral nature (though works well enough in teams). Tends to say what he thinks, and usually thinks things he shouldn't say in mixed company.

Villains: Adrastea, named after a certain Greek goddess--quiet, calm, even friendly, doing what she must but not necessarily agreeing with it.

Type of role-play: I lean more toward the more dramatic end, so I tend to not hang around a statue in a park and gossip about the news. :> That's not to say I don't do casual arpee now and then, in fact I like to think I'm capable of running to either end of the spectrum.

Can be contacted: Global chat, in-game e-mail, whatever works. Might be in the middle of a mission or something, so if I'm on-line but don't respond immediately, it's not because I'm ignoring you! Promise.

Times on: Well, weekends tend to be my PvE time, and during the week, I'm usually on in the mid to late evenings; around twenty-two hundred hours (ten o'clock P.M.) B.S.T., give or take. I'm on from then until--whenever. Sometimes I'm on for a long while, sometimes I'm not.

Time zone: Heh, I'm actually in the United States, in Central Time. (Had a friend who was on the EU servers, so I thought what the heck.)
