  1. I did some quick recon earlier of the situation in both Brickstown and Talos Island. I found a group sneaking through a portal between a bunch of buildings in Talos, and after giving them careful study and considering their combat abilities, I attacked. They are most interesting foes. Giant floating eyeballs who are able to hold you in place while they impale you with various spiney projectiles, and slow your movement to a degree with certain optical blasts, as well. The giant floating eyeballs seem to be the most threat, with the larger ones being the strongest, obviously. The bipedal creatures with strange crystals on their heads have fairly potent combat abilities, as well, although they don't have the ability to hold you in place as they pummel you (that's why the travel in packs with the giant eyeballs). The portals are fairly resistant to damage, and have been known to transport reinforcements through when under attack. After a short battle, and defeating the pack guarding the portal, more transported through and forced me to retreat.

Beware, Heroes of Paragon, these are strong foes, for sure!

  2. I've been imprisioned by a boss, too! Probably won't be able to make an escape attempt until 5 pm est, and then there's the wife class villian to deal with at home! Aiii!

I hope this is a large scale invasion and lasts long enough for me to open a can of alien whupbutt!
  3. Yesterday around 10 or so PM EST there were reports of a giant level 50 monster class mob in Founder's Falls on Guardian. By the time one of my SGmates arrived on the scene the mob had been defeated and faded away to the prison. Since we never actually saw the monster, I can't verify its existance, but people said it was there and had defeated it. Not sure how often a giant level 50 monster class giant mob spawns, but either way it can't be a good sign for Paragon...

As a side note, we are experimenting with trying to get more changes out in between the "big *** updates" which currently are on a 2 or 3 month schedule.

If you can't wade through the above: "CROSS-VERSION BUG FIXES HARD. BIG UPDATES MAYBE GOOD" and ignore the rest.
