Ok.. I don't normally post here.. but I've just read this ENTIRE thread (yes.. all 59 pages.. just have to love insomnia, coffee, and working night shifts..).. and I've got a couple of comments to make:
1: To the Dev's.. Bravo! Way To Go! I don't post much, but I do read the boards frequently, and this has got to be the best announcement that I've seen in ages! Excellent way to make it all balanced IMHO, and give the playerbase what We all need.
2: To the "doomers": It's a pretty simple system going into effect regarding the extra slots and awards for vets. Honestly the Dev's don't have to give Us squat, but they are in effect going well beyond what was done previously. An example of that would be people who bought CoV when it first came out just for the extra slots (I know, I was one of them.. just started playing villians about a month ago, and bought CoV the day it was released). We paid upwards of $30 for 4 slots and an extra CD. Now I can get 5 slots for $20, and no extra little scratchable disk to get tossed around or lost.. can you say sweetness.. sure ya can. And hey, I'll only be getting 4 extra slots when I12 drops.. and guess what.. I'm happy about that (but My altitis isn't as bad as some people's).
In conclusion:
Extra slots available for purchase: Sweet
Extra slots GIFTED upon i12 release: Extra Sweet
Extra slots GIFTED for Vet rewards: Uber Sweet
VEAT's, Powerset proliferation, Zone changes, new costume features, new content: *Goes into Sugar Shock*
