Apologies to all Canadians, then. After all, the flawless logic embedded in your humour should be apparent to all thinking people in the rest of the world.

Quote:Hmmm...this seems very familiar. Almost like when a certain former owner of hers used to visit the Hive.you walking into the zone with your 8 man team, and several other aow people on their own team as well caused quite a bit of disruption.
This does call to mind something quite funny, however. I remember being a witness to Felicia's former owner's first attempt at the new Hamidon. It was an interesting and entertaining gala of dying toons. -
Not to worry, Ace-san. In capturing a sample, I was led to the creation of new and interesting temp powers.

And some players RP at being decent people.

Nevertheless, do be careful with muscle implants. Just say no.

Quote:If you have not determined by now who the troublemakers were as well as who they are today you are simply not paying attention. Taking care of troublemakers does not mean unbridled attacks upon anyone with a differing opinion, philosophy and/or personality. But it does mean keeping those who only seek to better themselves at the detriment of others in check. But that is part of the problem. "Taking care of troublemakers" seems to mean attacking anyone who doesn't fit the nice and easy stereotypes that the most vocal seem to prefer (only excusing themselves and their friends from having to behave decently, of course.) I seem to remember a lot of claims about "server elite" and "forum celebrities" a while ago, but it does seem that some people can do no wrong, while others make their mistakes and have it held over their heads forever.
Personal vendettas shouldn't have a place or be excused, and both sides of a disagreement should have to own up for their responsibility. There is no single "bad guy" even in this thread, but people certainly are acting as though there were.
The elite/celebrities/most vocal that you touch upon simply have a greater presence on the forums, and thus they receive more exposure. They are also marked by a desire to bring up helpful information, interesting debates, light-hearted fun or community-related events for everyone to share. And some of them even go so far as to make their community-related actions in-game the equal of their words. Being a loudmouth or a top poster does not make one a celebrity by any stretch. Words have consequence, whether for good or ill, and accountability follows reliably on this server.
If you feel there is bias here, you have the same option that anyone else has to bring it up, and you likely know that full well. But, one should also be prepared to reinforce their claims with facts, even if those appear to be the 500-pound gorilla in the room. -
And yet, Champion took care of those troublemakers all by itself. The truth of the matter is, if they would only behave, there would be no trouble.
Through the varied seasons of drama, the people of Champion have become very good at spotting and bringing troublemakers to task, especially those that thumb their noses at consequences.
To me, it almost seems as though a "thank you" would be in order.

Quote:People have all sorts of choices, as to what they will or will not do. Unfortunately, people are not prone to approaching that fact with honesty. What is more unfortunate is that, while consequences do come of choices, there is never the chance to go back and choose differently.I wonder if she is using his tactic of "they are all against us" to get her group to support her tyrades and not kick her? Food for thought.
It is up to her to decide what she chooses to do, for her own good...or ill. -
Quote:No. A good many went on to form their own coalition of SG's, with a basis for play that was the polar opposite of their former association, and it seems to suit them well.Considering who some of the other ex-SF people are, I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean. Are you saying that they are all the same?
However, a very few appear to still long for the lash, whether to hold it or to feel it. More is the pity. -
