Mostly the reason Philly is running tf blueside is for task force commander. We are luckly and PERC is running a mayhem madness May 7th so everyone redside can get invader that day.
As far as xp, just hit me up in game and I can get you to the level goal no problem -
Thing is... TK isn't even the most broken power.
We will talk more about this in 2 Weeks. -
I know how you feel about TK Philly, and as you know its use in leagues has been controversial, however, I think pretending it does not exist or teaching how to counter it would do a huge disservice to anyone who wished to continue on with PvP after Boot Camp. -

Things to think about prior to this Friday's Meeting-
Mentors/Boot Camp1 people- I will need a list of the characters (AT and Power Sets) that you intend to play for this event. So start to think about what you want to play and you can send that to me in the form of a Forum PM or just posting it in this thread.
Participants new to PvP- This week we will be talking about survival and showing you evasion routes on various Arena maps. Therefore, it is important that you level your characters up to at least 25 (getting both Travel Powers SJ/SS) so you can keep up with us as we travel around the maps. This week's topic is one of the big 3 in team based pvp (evasion/locking/spiking) so this is a fairly important meeting so please try to attend. -

For those people around tonight, we will be gathering on vent and maybe setting up some low level pvp.
Not an offical meeting, but maybe just a nice break from grinding trials.
Remember if anyone has any questions you can always PM me on the forums or ask them on this thread. I've been told I miss a lot of in-game PMs (and I thought I was doing well of answering them), so on the forums might be best. -
I20 Content gets a thumbs up.
I like the new raids (thats what it is... stop pretending its not). Its fun to be part of a massive attack group. I've always like the tactical aspect of this game (I guess that is also why I enjoy PvP) so disecting these raids and finding out what works best was a lot of fun for me.
I do have to say that *some* people's actions with I20 gets a thumbs down from me. I really dislike that people try to manipulate rewards to best serve themselves rather then thinking of the team/league. I have found myself shaking my head when I see a tanker run into a mob throw one AoE then rush on the next mob, while the rest of his team is left behind trying to clean up that 1st spawn.
I also know some people do not like the forced teaming aspect of these new raids, as they are used too and comfortable playing with their own set friends/squad. I personally have enjoyed teaming with new people and also watching how other people choose to run these raids- so that aspect also gets a thumbs up from me.
Warton as far as Zone pvp, there will always be some zone activity (on larger servers) but zone to me has always been about "zomg whats the latest broken power!" Yes judgement nukes are a bit OP and may need to be visited in the future of CoH PvP, but give it time, new things are introduced with unexpected/anticipated results and it takes time to figure out how best to deal with them. You can always join us on Fridays 9pm est for kickballs (while we are teaching Boot Camp2) at least untill we pick our teams then Fridays will become actual matches rather then Kickballs.
Don't quit on us now buddy. -

One other thing I could do with this build is free up 4 slots, remove assault, pick up a stun power and 5 slot that with Stupefy just for the set bonuses, but I generally don't like to pick up a power just to be a set mule.
One thing I will state is that team based PvP is a lot different then zone or duel PvP. Remember you are relying on heals coming from your healer. This also includes buffs in the form of AB/Fort/CM/Painbringer/Enforce Moral/Forge etc.
Also remember that you can pick up a full tray of insp before each match, (we will also be going over inspiration usage, in a future class) so you should be able to adjust your insp as necessary for your play style. If you find yourself spike target a lot, bring all greens. If you evade like a champ then bring 3 lines of reds. If you were not able to afford a build high on +end and recovery, carry a few blues.
All great questions Hemm, and very useful for sparking some discussion about these topics. I am glad you are bringing up these types of questions, and if you have any more I know we have lots of mentors who are more then willing (as I am) to answering yours of anyone's questions about what we have covered so far or build specific questions. -

So far checking the SG/VG rosters- everyone who has created a character is at least of the minimum level (25) for the 2nd meeting (in 10 days).
I want to thank everyone who has run accelerated experience obtainment teams, as well as Flux and Philly for running Posi 1&2.

I would go the 80 mill route myself. With the current build posted you could actually skip doing TFC and PJ and be at 1582 hp.

Unfortunately, no that wouldn't. You took some AoE attacks (remember pvp is about single target, they (almost always) do more damage then cones, pbAoEs and tAoEs.
Also for travel powers we would be using ss/sj.
You can use that build for when you PvE on that character but I will be posting the dom builds soonish.
