Well, now that you mention it, my follow up arc will have Foo in it, with two big plot points:

1. Foo will be loud, angry, and have access to a time machine.
2. Whenever Foo's not onscreen, all the other NPCs will be asking "Where's Foo"?

That should address your concerns.

Only crap autosaves just overwrite your original file. In Word (and all other good programs), it makes a second file which is periodically updated automatically. The first one is only updated when you do so.

They've been building safety swords for a long time now!

I hit save a lot, but when you're really focused, the last thing you're thinking about is saving.

It's such a simple feature that I don't understand why it's not in there. They've been doing it in word processors since the 80s!
