However so far the Castle-less Powers Team haven't shown much of a commitment towards fixing broken things or revamping powersets, other than the AOE heal for Dark Masterminds (which I suppose thinking about it could have been in order to throw Dark MMs a bone on these trials).
Even so, TA was borked since day 1, since power-normalisation animations of pets got worse (they do have a 1 or 1,67sec cast, but they remain rooted for the 'old' duration), they not even gave any attention to Mercs at all. -
Because it was already said by the devs, US-EU transfers are not possible at this given time, US and EU servers physical are still at different locations.

I understand what it's like to feel like it's damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't. This is one of those types of situations. No matter how it turns out, there are going to be some unhappy people. I hope that it's more than balanced out by how cool it will be to have everyone on one server list, and I really hope that even if someone loses their global name, they manage to stay focused on the positive. yes im positive towards those who care about their global, that NC is looking possible solutions for global channels (lol, EU global will get a 'EU' added to the name? :P), but for me personal i have no positive view on any aspect of this upcomming change.
I see this all US minded, priority on global, loginnames, choices of features, there are hardly no US players having EU accounts, while i believe there are a considerable ammount of EU players having US accounts (next to their EU one) to acces a larger playerbase or timezone issues.
Years ago there was an option, they could copy your characters over to another account (double names got a number behind it), now suddenly this feature is gone? -

Things got hectic for me too. PayPal wouldn't let my payment go through. I went to renew a few days early and it kept disallowing. And PayPal support aren't very helpful. I went another method to get it done on time.
But I was also told by some friends that if you email NCSoft support about the issue they'll flag you for continuation if you were trying.
In short, Paypal cant change their random check (or their security), NCsoft wont change their 'payment response' handling. Support told me to contact Paypal, Paypal says its NCsoft not accepting a 'under investigation' payment. Short, i'm borked and missing the 7year boat on all my accounts.
Strangly enough, Ncsoft is the _only_ company i ever seen that rejects such payments, and i've done tons of payments with Paypal. -
