Well i finally fixed the problem, shame it had to occur in the first place.

Well this is just retarded, i manage to find a topic with the same issues as me, follow what they suggest and by making a simple mistake i end up switching my updater access to US and i cant switch it back, oh joy i now have to download and install the game again, all because of a bug that should have been fixed 5 years ago. Great.

Hi guys bought the game yesterday and im getting problems trying to start the game.

Basically as the title says, everytime i go to open up CoH all it does is the updater opens and then asks me where i want to install CoH. Now i originally installed the game into a directory of my choice then the above happened so i figured it was the directory, so i reinstalled the game to what it asks and unfortuneatly it's still doing it.

Im not exactly impressed to be honest, but im hoping it's just a simple fix. I don't really want to be continually re-installing the game.

P.s i have the version bought online from the website, so no CD.

Ive just deleted everything that could be the installer and then created a shortcut for the updater from the main CoH directory and it's still doing it. But ill have a look at the technical forum.
