Interesting comment by Mat Miller: Willpower proved to be a very powerful defensive set, possibly the second most powerful right after Stone.

I wonder if this explains why Shield Defense seems toned down? Castle and Posi gun shy about giving away too much?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Matt miller didnt say that, the interviewer did. Everyone look, we just witnessed how a rumor is born!

Boomtown: The latest melee set, Willpower, turned out to be very strong, maybe even the second strongest set for melee toons after Stone. How will you rate the new set, Shields, in comparison with the “old” sets?

Matt Miller: Shields is really a great set for characters who tend to team up a lot. It’s “schtick” is the ability to protect more than just yourself from damage. In that respect it won’t play out as strong for soloing as some of the other sets, but should be a great alternative to players who like to group up a lot.

Tried to play a shield scrapper last night. Only around lv5 so I am not exactly a pro with the set, but I do feel kinda squishy for a scrapper. My Dark/Pain Corr on the other hand.... think I will have some fun on that toon.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is just ludicrous! I dont think anything FEELS squishy at lvl 5. You can hit lvl 5 with out even using any toggle powers and feel like a god LOL. How can you make a judgement call on a set when u only unlocked the first three powers.

Please let these function in pvp areas. +Recovery and stuff ftw!

So far there has been no Dev word nor player test that implied these new vet pets would -not- work in the PVP zones or arena.

Then again with only 10 HPs and -75% Resistance the chances these pets will last more than about 2 seconds of any PvP engagement will be roughly 0%. And please be my guest wasting away a few seconds trying to recast them in combat too.

    [/ QUOTE ]

QFT - A single damage aura tick would make them meet their maker. Wouldnt be worth it in a PvP fight
  4. I use Sherk Silver, anyone have a better one?
  5. i have a lvl 41 Warshade and have tried just about every combo u can try with a kheld. Three forms, (Buffing with Human and Dwarf then switching to Nova to blast away) 2 forms, no forms, after hanging up my WS for months i haphazardly logged him in and respeced with my free respec. Of course he is so GIMP now i need another respec. >.< This is what i am planning and i think it will work very well while teamed. Keyword "teamed" i dont think this toon is meant for solo play with so many powers and buffs relying on big mobs (Dark Sustenance, Sunless Mire, Eclipse, Stygian Circle, Unchain Essence, Quasar) i think he is better suited for big mission teams. Oh well here is my final shot at the Kheld. 4 Respecs and a Dream!
