See how I get treated around here? Just for that, I'm not showing up next Tuesday!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm back, and I see the snark continued in my absence.

    Some ooc notes:

-Since Siolfir and Gol will be gone on Tuesday, we'll be running a Synapse TF instead of things for xp
-Non-guild folks are welcome to join us, as long as they're willing to play along
  2. I'll post a report as soon as I stop getting thanked 75% of the time for being a beta tester. Heck, I'm not even sure I can post this! I have the report on my hard drive. Maybe I'll e-mail it to you, if you're not having the same issues.
  3. Tonight we do the Moonfire TF! We're going to depart on time, so don't be late!

    Happy Monday....

It's so hard to go wrong with a Waylon Jennings reference, right?

Unrelated, on Saturday I'm going to make caramel apple crisp.

Also unrelated, I must have these buttons! (Pinup girl buttons, I think they're safe for work, but just in case...)

    Happy Monday....

That picky, cheap and have dietary concerns is also why I brew my own coffee and make my own espresso drinks, come to think of it.

Beats being lonesome, ornery and mean.

    Happy Monday....

It's cheaper for me to cook delicious foods than it is to eat out or buy prepared foods, plus I enjoy cooking. Tastes better, too. In the summer I can fruits and some veggies and swap with my parents for canned tuna. This summer my friend the Archivist and I are going in on a pressure cooker and canning salsa and veggies with low natural acidity.

And have you priced brand breads in the store lately?! I don't know what it's like where you are, but it's over $4/loaf here.

So it's not so much as I'm evil as I'm cheap, picky and have some dietary concerns.

    Happy Monday....

Here's the recipe. It makes enough for Mr. Sins and I to have for several meals (Viva la leftovers!), so I'd halve it for 1 person.

    Chili Bake

    -15 ounces black beans, canned
    -15 ounces kidney beans, canned
    -15 ounces corn, frozen
-10 ounces Rotel, mild (canned tomatoes and chilies)
    -6 6-inch corn tortillas
-16 ounces pepper jack cheese, grated
    -12 ounces celery, diced
    -8 ounces sweet peppers, diced
    -1 large onion, diced
    -1 lb chorizo
    -16 ounces salsa, mild
    -5 ounces enchilada sauce

    1. Cook chorizo over medium heat, crumbling. Once chorizo is cooked, add diced celery, sweet pepers, and onion. Cook until wilted. Add corn, beans, and rotel. Cook until heated through.

    2. In 13 x9 glass pan, line bottom with tortillas, tearing to fit. Layer half of of the cheese on top of the tortillas, then half of the salsa. Cover with cooked chorizo mix. Repeat for second layer. Add a little more cheese, then drizzle the enchilada sause over the top.

    3. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degress F.

Notes: Originally from [u] Better Homes and Gardens Treasury of Light Eating [u], but has been extensively modified to be much more delicious. The better the salsa and cheese, the better the bake. I bought my salsa from the local fancy deli this time and used smoked gouda because I had it on hand. Took me about 30 minutes to assemble, and 10 minutes of clean up.
  8. Dear Lotus Cri:

I have received your recent memo and read it with interest. I will take your intellegence under advisement.

On a side note, it took me forever to locate a courier system to deliver this, but I'm still suspicious of e-mail and its like, just sending important communications into the ether.

    Best regards,

    Cecilia

    Happy Monday....

I had wheat bread toast with homemade blackberry jam, and I have a delicious, homemade chilli bake for lunch.
  10. For the duration of this team, weren't you already going to go where I told you to go?

Don't forget to go to the market forum. There is a fun filled merit thread there too!

I think I made some of the marketers mad when I told them I hoard everything good that drops instead of selling it.

    Hee hee... its fun.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I do that, too. It's just too darn hard to replace some things if I sell it. I'd rather craft it and store it for future use by myself or Mr. Sins or friends.
  12. Really? But, but... I wanted to show you Croatoa!
  13. Because you adore fighting Snaptooth?
  14. Textilian

    Happy Monday....

Don't be silly, there's no drama on these boards.
  15. By the way, what are your thoughts on the Valentine's Day event? Should we take an evening, maybe Thursday of next week to unlock the costume parts, earn the badges?
  16. I'd need details on what the trials would be changed to before I supported or opposed the notion. I like the villain respec trials as they are, but admit to loathing the Terra Revolta trial.

Also, I run the second and third villain respec much more than I run the first one; if anything was to change, I'd rather it was the first one.

Ever had Panda Express? Damn good chinese but I would suggest Beijing Beef! Thats my new thing now

    [/ QUOTE ]

I find Panda Express to be only acceptable Chinese food. I live near some topnotch independent Chinese resturants and have been spoiled by them.
  18. From the Adventure Diary of Countess Clink Clank

Yesterday we earned our capes, learning of the brave Hero 1 and in the process, more about the Rikti. We then returned to Faultline, where we did some work for Agent G of the Longbow, fighting several powerful villains in the process.

I'm slowly becoming accustomed to the Professors manifestations and must even admit they are useful. Still, tomorrow we are headed to Striga Isle to meet with Moonfire and hopefully learn more about this phenomina.

    ---

OOC Things: Although I agree the Hess TF is made of awesome, I feel Croatoa is unique enough to head there and do those arcs. We can always flashback to unlock the Hess TF. The truth is, we're just leveling too quickly to be able to see it all on the first pass.

The Moonfire TF requires all members to be level 23 or up. If you are NOT level 23, please make sure you get there by tomorrow night!

Next Tuesday we'll be down two members, so will do the Synapse TF instead and then Thursday its something else exciting, including a face off with a giant octopus.
  19. I'm having huge problems with my chat in-game.
  20. Patrol XP is a beautiful, beautiful thing.

Lusca is always up, so the only trick would be to get a couple of teams together.

I'm not sure if Guardian even has a badge channel.

    Logic?!

    *bats at logic*
  22. Blood Spectre wants to go fishing, huh? Well, how about on Thursday, February 12, 2009 we keep an eye on the zone alerts and when Lucas comes up we'll try and take her out. What's Guardian's badge channel? I'll broadcast our intents there.
  23. The plan for tomorrow:

    -Cape Mission Final!

    -Final Faultline Arc

    -First Striga Arc

    Thursday:

Moonfire TF! Starting on time, don't be late!

    The Tuesday After:

Synapse Task Force, sans Siolfir and Gol
