I don't bump into the architecture flying any more than I do with running/jumping. Less, actually, in some mission maps.

Hrm. I'm used to hearing more of a throaty rumble from a gas-powered V8. Maybe it's the sound quality of the recording (or an artifact of whatever exhaust system they're using), but those engines had the sort of rattle-cough I associate with diesel engines.
-
I'm saying that the joke wasn't funny to me because I didn't know the person pictured. Given the context, I might presume his name is Nemesis, but for all I know his name is Alvin.
-
Not much "action", really.
Are those diesel engines? They sound like they might be. -
-
I might've found this slighly amusing if I knew the man pictured was named Nemesis without having to infer it from contextul clues.

If they let it. They have the same choices as anyone else subjected to social pressures. And every one of those choices has its own consequences. Such is life. Sorry, Charlie, your tuna ain't special - it's just like the generic brand of chopped dolphin.

"Challenging" is the precise moment when all the fun leaves as what was supposed to be a game becomes an effort-driven chore.

I guarantee that if there wasn't Hover people would use Fly in combat (more often than just accidentally leaving it on when they should have switched to Hover).

Quote:I always figured that if they made a stand-and-ride-glider type power that they'd use the Prestige Power Slide animations with some sort of platform attached.I wouldn't think so since most animations don't require much leg work. Leg movement differs during flight, so i figure they could just lock the legs to the board during most attacks. And it should work the same way of going from atk animation to stance on board like ninja run and beast run do. Imagine how badass Hail of Bullets would look while locked onto the board.
It's neat that they did something all new instead, but at the same time it's not very useful. -
In the comics, didn't Red Skull at one point have a plot involving a Cosmic Cube fail and end up in some hellish dimension? So, in the movie maybe he got transported to Helheim and has been a "guest" of Hel.

Incidentally, I found it a bit strange that Kit and Kat were the only Cats to have tails (that I noticed).
-
I don't care for it either. If it at least had red goggles attached, I'd probably like it better.
But I really hated the way Joker looked in the last movie, too, despite liking the character. So perhaps the character will be done well enough that I can forgive the mask. -
Doesn't look promising. However, the pics of the Joker for the previous movie also didn't look very good and I ended up liking him just fine.

I haven't run into an A/S/L'er around here since the days of PDP. Which was also the last time I saw anyone ask others about themselves as a player. As I recall, my reply was 99/X/Ice Station Zebra.

Who's to say it's the "other" gender? They're just as much a faceless, genderless entity in game as the person being harassed. As such, it's no different a situation than any other form of in-game harassment and should be treated accordingly.

It's a purchasable premium power, as I understand it. And it would be awesome, if you could use powers while riding it. However, sources say it grays out all your powers like the Walk toggle does.

Quote:Similar to conscripts in some medieval conflicts. One has to wonder about the morale of the first attack wave. They're told to use swords and wooden shields against a high-walled castle defended by archers and mounted knights. IE, certain death for many of them. And they do this knowing that they are keeping their blaster rifles, tanks, long-range missiles, and giant mecha _in reserve_ because their general wants to see the reaction on the enemy king's face when the high-tech stuff appears? There's a difference between "drawing the enemy out" and "Suicide attack against a vastly inferior opponent."

I'd like to see this just as I'd like to see masks that aren't just painted on to the head (particularly annoying with those that are supposed to cover the ears).

I always liked talking snarf just fine, but the new one is cute and I want a stuffed version.
The only thing I didn't really care for in this first episode was Mumm-ra's voice. Other than that, I thought it was pretty darned cool. If they completely avoid introducing those damned robo-bears, it might even be awesome. -
From all the trailers I was hardly expecting this movie to be great, especially from a character/story perspective. Indeed, it was giving off quite a Syfy Original vibe.
