Your build looks very nice. But I have to disagree with putting an Obliteration set in Death Shroud... being one of the more End Heavy toggles that DA runs... that set only has one End reducer compared to other sets like Multi Strike (4) or Scirocco's (2).
The only other thing that I might change is that this build seems to be too heavily slotted on dmg and not enough in the defensive abilities. Looking at the bonuses, I'm seeing this might be counter-productive though. I am probably going to play around with this build -
So, I'm a little new to the scrapper world... having spent most of my time over in the tanker area.
I think the best match I've seen so far is the Fire/Shield combo. I was just curious why Spines has been muffled? Is it harder to soft cap? -

I would suggest you Fire/Shield, check Iggy last movie about how he can handle a double RWZ challenge... And for an IO build John Printemps /Shield guide has several good builds for this combo.
Good luck

Sounds like fun. I'll do a quick search, but any links?

If you have a metric ton of money to spend, look no further then a dark melee/shield scrapper, you will do so much damage it will literally make you want to vomit. I read yesterday someone soloed a pylon in less then 6 min and had over 250 dps which is retardedly high.

I agree. That sounds absolutely sick, but I'm looking for something with a little more AoE. I'll keep that in mind after I finish this money sink. -
Not a bad start
After throwing some purps in there for recharge I may have to go find my smexy pants. -
The thread name should give you the general context of this post. I've got a several billion inf to waste as I see please, and I'm trying to decide how it's going to be spent.
I enjoy making characters that are simply overpowered. I have the influence to spare, and nothing better to do than amuse myself (and others) with over the top characters.
That being said, I'm an amateur MIDS builder. While I am capable of making my own builds, I never seem to reach the numbers I'm quite looking for... and I enjoy comparing multiple builds (from multiple perspectives) to reach a final decision
I would like to make an over-blown brute that is capable of soloing boss ae's (or harder). I enjoy AoE Oriented builds. I am leaning towards /Super Strength. However I wouldn't mind seeing /Fire or /Axe.

Post your over-the-top /SS /Fire or /Axe Tanker builds. Do not cut corners. I can do that.
A personal thank you to any that participate. -

Couple of questions. I'm pretty new to this game (fairing at just over a week old)... and extremely new to tanking... however... being an Old School WoW tank... I *have* to at least try it here.
I'm currently in the decision process of deciding between a Shield/DM and Ice/Fire (I/F, simply b/c of the great explanation you did of your build and its mechanics). I was wondering if anyone would mind posting a "SO Build" ... i.e. what my character should somewhat look like before I head into IO'ing the character out.
Thanks in advance... and must I say... absolutely great work.
Edit:: This may be one of those n00b questions where you say "refer to guide" - but numbers tend to shy me away... This build seems to be pretty end heavy... with no way to steal end like a ice/dm would... is End an issue? And if not - why?
