Normal content is fun when you get a few people that know how to play and run through a toon. There are MANY types of toons to create and if they are played and not PL'D to 50, then alot of fun can be had. Some may live for PvP but not everyone does. There is no way to play everything possible in this game in a weekend to theose posters.

I've went in pvp zones a few times but without a billion dollar build, you can't just go in and enjoy yourself on a SO toon. While i'm not saying a SO build should be able to hang with one IO'd with purps, not everyone likes to take the time(or may not play enough to have the inf needed) to build their toons to a perfect PvP build. Not everyone can play enough to afford the pieces to create a pvp build, so they stick with their SO's and enjoy the other part of the game.
This kind of sums it up. I see the issues here are the same as in Warcraft. So you have more than just arena here? There are PvP zones, complete with Ganking? LOL

Talk about not enjoying yourself.. I used to have toons on a PvP server. I had a lvl 30 Blood Elf Pally. I was minding my own business, but in neutral areas, you're flagged and that's all there is to it. I was repeatedly ***** by this little punk 80 gnome rogue for like 10 minutes. Nothing I could do. I finally just stayed dead until he left.

Yes it's the nature of the beast. I'll never be really good at PvP. I had 80 levels of Warcraft to prove that point. I can be satisfied just to be a pain in somebody's butt for a time. LOL
  2. I'm a n00b. Only been playing for a couple months. I'm coming over from retirement from Warcraft. I have to say in the Warcraft world, I was up in the air with PvP. I liked the occasional skirmish defending the cities and such, but widespread BG and Arena didn't do it for me. In Warcraft I wasn't that great in the Battlegrounds or Arena, but I could hold my own out in the world. Without money for the right gear, it's next to hopeless to get ahead. I couldn't compete with the nerds that have no life and can farm a thousand gold a day.

I haven't tried PvP here but intend to test the waters soon. I can't imagine that the bulk of the population here hate PvP. It amazes me that you wouldn't want to try your hand against another player.

I doubt my toon is very well equipped. I don't really have the enhancements I know I need. I've been learning my way around that. I can't make a judgement about this game until I've done it all. So far I have had a much better experience here than in Warcraft. Most people here are much more friendly.

I levelled my Warcraft toon to 80, found nothing left at the top. I think things here will be different.

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents.
