I'm not so sure about using Skype; I've already got Vent and TS for other groups. And I'm lazy when it comes to setting up one more account for the same basic service.
I don't care if I get left out of that though; I'd rather have my ipod going with some music to get me into fighting moods. -
Sorry about the disappearance toward the end of our time last night- I dc'd, got back on, and then the whole computer froze and had to be rebooted. That took so long I gave up entirely in favor of sleep for the class I'm about to run across campus for (Torts, blah.)
-
I'll be there tonight, but there will be about 5-7 minutes where I need to go afk for a dorm thing at 10EST (I'll just stay out of missions at that time and come back to team as soon as they finish.)
-
I'm up for anything... even the scary tree. I can't wait to get on my other computer, lol.
-
Right as we start fighting BaBs... I dc'd. Oh well, next week I'll be back at school and on my desktop so I shouldn't have so many connection problems. I'll catch up soloing if needed before then.
-
Unless I need to go visit my father, I'll be there this week. I'm still at home until next Sunday evening though, so I still have connection issues due to laptop use.
-
Okay, I've got to ask... what is the Novelist and Scribe stuff in the PERC people's titles now? Something to check out at Barnes and Noble?

A near team wipe near the end of the last mission for the night, the AV Wave. We regrouped and put down Barracuda.

It was great last night, I just wish my targeted heals hit more often so my teammates wouldn't drop dead so much. Of course, as a villain maybe I shouldn't care.
And why do so many of the mission arcs have to deal with being betrayed by the more powerful NPC types? You'd think they get a reputation and no one would work for them if they did it that often. Not making a lot of sense to me for storylines. Grr. -
I've got to skip this week- big Constitution Law final on Friday morning and it's the one that I've been the most worried about. It's intensive study after my Wednesday Civil Procedure final until Friday morning- case intensive subjects are evil.
(Good news is that Torts and Property are both done, and didn't suck too much.) -
Sure... why not? I've never done that one, as far as I can recall.
-
Bump...
I think we're on again this Thursday, and we still have openings in the team (looking for regulars.) -
We all ready for tomorrow night?
We have an opening in Team Butter... for one player. -
I thought that we decided to skip this week. (Thursdays hero team decided to skip also.)
-
Okay, here is the current situation- we lost Melt and two others have dropped from the team as well... so we're down to five regular team members.
We've got a tank, two scrappers, a defender (sonic/kin I believe), and a blaster. And three spots available if anyone would like to have a convenient ready-made team for Thursday nights between 8:30-10:30 PM EST. We're all at lvl 21 (some close to 22) atm, and taking next week off so the American members can have the holiday free.
Ideally, we'd love to have at least one controller or another defender (rad was suggested.) But really, we are not all that picky and almost anyone could fit in nicely. If you are interested, have a toon around 20-23 and can commit to showing up most Thursday nights please consider joining us.
My global is in my sig if you want to contact someone privately for questions, or shout them out here and someone will help ya. -

Last week I mentioned that I may be late tonight. My torts class was supposed to meet to watch a movie, related to actual causation, and that has been postponed. However, I still may miss tonight because I'm not feeling well.
Hopefully will feel better later and show for teaming, but don't wait for Sobeknefru. -
Synapse was finished last night with five Static Team members, and next week we will be running two hours of regular missions (unless something changes.)
I'm wondering- of the eight people who started we had five for this tf. Meltdown, unfortunately, isn't playing for a while... but are the other two players still interested in participating? Almost all of us hit 21 during the tf and we stopped right after the tf ended last night; not too hard to catch up to if anyone is interested in rejoining us. -
Almost done with Synapse... down to four on the team tonight though. We did pretty well for a tank, two scrappers, and a blaster on missions set for a slightly bigger team.

It's funny that this might not only bring in new CoH players who are Mac uses but new Mac uses who are CoH players. Maybe NCNC should try to arrange a discount on new Macs for existing coh players. Like an education discount ... but not.

Wow, you'd have to be desperate for an excuse to get a new computer if you used that one. -
I may be late also- got a HoJ thing at 8EST that I'd like to show up for (at least part of it cause Gray's been so nice.)
-
I know some high level stuff in Grandville that I'd love to do again- Vernon von Grun (Becky!!!) for one. I had a great time as a 45-50 villain; I think some of the story arcs red side are more fun than blue side at the higher levels.
-
I'd be up for Mantis- is that the one that requires a computer in the base?
-
We broke a villain (Stardusk) out of jail; she was grateful and followed me around to help destroy a couple cars. We bonded over our radiation powers. It was sweet. Remember the skirt bug- where some of the skirts have been turned so the sides are now the front and back? Well, they haven't fixed hers yet. Good thing she's a villain- heroes shouldn't flash people like that.
But yeah- it was fun last night, lots of debt, most of us got six or seven badges for defeat numbers, and I think Sobe is about 3.5 bars (plus debt) from lvl 24 and a new /dark power (a fear perhaps?) -
I'm pretty sure everyone in Team Butter (6 of us tonight) got to lvl 22. So the two that missed don't have too far to catch up. We're ready for another Mayhem next week too.
