  1. Thanks for the tips gang!

One of the students in the class uses a website for his WoW game time and they offer CoH cards too. So we're going to try them ...

And thanks for that idea Ninus - I did contact NCSoft via email a little while back, but didn't hear back. I'd certainly be happy for them to use us as a bit of PR!

And Mr Fallstar? I am the teacher! We only got to do this course this year because of the New SACE - before now it would have been very difficult.
  2. G'day people!

I'm hoping someone can help me with this - does anyone know of a source for game time cards outside of the US?

We're using CoX as part of a senior English/Maths class here in South Australia and the school is going to pay for 3 months of access for the enrolled students. This is fine for the "school owned" accounts.

It gets interesting though - some of the students are going to purchase their own accounts for CoX and we want to be able to still give them 3 months of "free" access, but don't want to put the school credit card details into their accounts!

I'm hoping there's a source for game time cards (or even just codes!)

Or are we ... as they say ... "boned"? lol
  3. That's a great idea UnSub! Thanks for the heads-up

    G'day Liberty!

You folks are too, too kind! Thanks for the offers of assistance.

We've had two classes of game time so far and it's been good! Some of my students will be 50s in no time at all!

    G'day Liberty!

    Thanks everyone!

We're using trail accounts at the moment (to maximise our playing time ) but once they have paid-up accounts I'm sure they will go hard in joining everything they can get into!
  6. Thanks for the Justice tips guys! We might have to start some toons on there too.

They will be playing during school hours - although some of them might actually play in the spare time!
  7. Hi fellow Oceanics!

I just wanted to say "G'day" on behalf of the students who will be playing City of Heroes as part of their PC Gaming class here at Thebarton Senior College.

As part of our new Certificate of Education here in South Australia we are able to offer students their requisite literacy and numeracy credits through a course of study that focuses on games and gaming (you can read about the course here).

They will be playing and studying City of Heroes this semester and, as an option, they can create their own mission through the Architect system as an assessment later in the year.

So, if you see anyone in the Supergroup TSC running by on the Liberty server, that's us! Feel free to say g'day!
