Chapter 1.
As Amezka walked along inspecting the gauges and valves of the Paragon Cryogenetics Research Facility(PCRF)making sure they are going to be ready for
the up and coming inspection, she heard a familier sound outside.
Through the thick walls she could still make out the sound of a man screaming for help followed by a loud bang and silence.
"Poor guy." she thought.
"When will order ever be restored to Paragon." she said under her breath as she finished her rounds and closed the door behind her.
Driving home she looked around what used to be the pride of the city now transformed into nothing more then an industrial zone.
"Its a shame." she thought.
Driving home she made it a point to never look down an ally or a side road, if you saw something you wasnt supposed to , you quickly disapeared.
As she pulled into her apartment she waited a few moments to make sure it was clear of muggers.
Amezka was only 25 years old, but having her way paid through schools she was able to land a high end job in the Cryogenetics department in Paragon cities top research facility. She was very happy openly about working in such a place but secretly dreamed of leaving Paragon and all its crime and corruption behind.
She chuckled as she thought about it knowing she would never leave this city.
Today was an ordinary day for Amezka , she drove to work and made her daily rounds making sure everything was in good and working condition. She liked to stay late and work that way she would not be disturbed and today was no different.
As the last of the scientists left , Amezka started to daydream once again about a place so wonderful that you could walk outside at night and have no fear of being harmed.
Suddenly a loud noise broke her trance and she quickly hid in the shadows as not to be seen.
She saw an older scientist that she had known long before she started working here escorted into the room by 2 men wearing mask's.
"Where is it!" shouted one of the men loudly.
"It is not here no more," said the scientist.
In the distance Amezka could heara police siren speeding towards the facility.
Just as she felt of breath of relief she heard a gun go off.
"Lets get out of here!" said the shooter.
As they began to leave Amezka made to sudden of a noise and drew there attention to her.
"Get her!" they shouted.
Amezka began to run screaming for help, as she turned a corner she heard a shot go off and pain in her arm.
Now bleeding there was no where for her to hide.
"Please No!" she screamed as one of the men raised a shotgun towards her.
As Amezka felt the pellets from the shotgun rip into her she could also hear them pinging against the pipes of the crygenics tank.
"It's going to blow!" yelled the 2 men as they ran away.
Amezka now slumped down to the ground could only wait until it happened.
She knew once that tank went the whole facility would be gone. In her last few seconds she smiled as she went back to her dreamland of crimeless streets.

Amezka knew she must have been dead at that point.
"This is amazing." She heard.
Yes she knew she was dead. She was hearing voices.
"Come look at this doctor, have you ever seen anything like this?
Then a sharp pain.
Another.
She was alive and awake now.
As she opened her eyes she tried to look around but everything was so bright it forced her to shut them again.
Then another pain, perhaps a needle.
She was asleep.
When Amezka woke up again she felt something on her face , this time as she opened her eyes she was able to make out all the objects around her. Reaching up to feel what was on her eyes she was shocked when she felt metal touch her cheek.
Amezka tried to scream.
She couldnt , something was covering her mouth.
About that time she heard several footsteps coming towards her.
As she looked around for the footsteps she saw her arm.
"Metal?" she thought.
Days passed followed by months.
Scientists worked day and night to reverse the effects of Amezka but each time they found a solution something else would go wrong.
Finally they set Amezka down and told her about how they found her among the explosion of the facility and how they had created an arm and eyes for her.
They told her that her jawbone was broken beyond repair and it had to be replaced also.
But what they told her next even she couldnt believe.
"Your blood Amezka." said one of the doctors.
"Somehow in the explosion the cryogenetics caused your blood to mutate beyond human standereds." they explained.
"Your blood is running at tempatures that would kill a normal person. It is running as ice."
Amezka not knowing what to think just sit back angry.
As she sit there she began to remember the 2 guys and the tragedy of that night.
All of the sudden she stood up in a fit a rage and to everyones surprise she laid a sheet of ice onto the floor and wall.
Realizing that she had been offered a very unique second chance, she began to laugh.
"Soon Paragon you will have your crime free streets." she whispered as she got up and left the room.
Looking at herself in the mirror she said her name one last time.
"Amezka."
Then she turned and froze the wall of the building and hit it as hard as she could shattering the wall into hundreds of peices.
As she stepped beyond the hole she screamed out her new name so all of the crookedness of Paragon would know it.
And in a flash of speed System Freeze was gone.
As System Freeze looked among the remains of the Cryogenetics Facility she was filled with the screams and cries for help from all the voices outside the walls while she sat safely inside.
Out of no where a car came speeding around the corner followed by Paragon PD.
System Freeze saw this as a chance to test her powers for the good and laid down a thick patch of ice into the street.
The lead car swerved off the rode and into a tree giving the officers a chance to apprehend the crooks.
System Freeze grinned as she heard the sound of cuffs being put onto the criminals.
Over the course of the next few weeks System Freeze became very well known to the underground criminals and they know it was only a matter of time before they was next.
One night as System Freeze was following a lead about a gang meeting in the Hollows she became ambushed. Shots coming from every angle and System Freeze was cornered.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw another movement in the shadows.
At first all she could make out was a covered face under the brim of a hat , then she noticed something else.
