I just happened upon this link looking for help with my own thematic Rad/Elec Defender build!
I've been playing him on & off for the last few years (I'm a pretty casual gamer), and I've been trying to come up with something that will allow him to hold his own going solo. Now, I'm no number cruncher, unfortunately, and I've mostly been paying attention to the IO's that say "damage buff" or "Regen/Recov". I just recently respec'd into this build and, while doing some Tips missions, have found that I'm burning through Stamina & getting my *** handed to me all of a sudden! While my last build (which I don't have a copy of, unfortunately) didn't really do a lot of damage, at least I had some staying power! If you could offer any suggestions

The "Guide to Guides" is pretty comprehensive. Good job!
I am, however, kinda frustrated with the lack of anything recent for a Rad/Elec Defender (a type I've been playing almost since day 1 of my account). I've looked at Erratic's guide along with several others who dealt with either Rad/ or /Elec and am stumped! I've been wracking my brains for sometime now trying to develop a ballanced build for my Palo Verde Pummeler, my "handyman hero" as i bill him. I'm fairly set on the concept of him being a good team player and a moderately tough solo'er (moderately! I know my limits!).
So far, I have an experimental respec buid with what I feel are the "bare bones" powers from the primary & secondary lists, as well as powers from the Flight, Teleportation, Fitness, & Fighting pools. It is as follows:

I'm affraid I don't have any Enhancements listed as of yet (I'm still researching best fit, best bennefits and all). I would appreciate feedback on what I could do to tighten this build up, as well as suggestions as to what IO's I could slot him with to get the most "bang for my buck", so to speak. -

I'm in a bit of a quandry: I have a lvl 45 Rad/Elec Defender with Fitness, Flight, TP, and recently Concealmentthe 'toon I've been playing almost since my first dayand I'm looking at respec'ing him, trying to get the most out of him.
I've been following your guide for the suggestions on what powers to take and where to go with them, but i'm grasping at straws to come up with a good rebuild for him!
I'm wondering if you could post the build suggested in your guide, or offer any suggestions as to how i might make him better. He's sort-of a "handyman hero"; I have him doing several things to make him more valuable to a team, but at the same time, I want him to be able to duke it out soloing as well (hmmm...maybe I should replace Concealment with Fighting...)
at any rate, if you could help me with this, i would be most appreciative.
