Good grief, that was fast!
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, I started after I9 hit test, so it's been about 3 weeks or so of work on my end
[ QUOTE ]
((EDIT)) Now if you can get to work on those stats and calculations...
[/ QUOTE ]
You joke, but this is actually under way!
It's coming Soon (tm) -
[ QUOTE ]
Marvelous! Thank you!
[/ QUOTE ]
You're welcome!
Please let me know if anyone hits any snags or something that doesn't work the way it should. I admittedly don't know all the ins and outs of IOs, so could very well have made some mistakes. -
Well, i have just released the latest version of my planner (www.cohplanner.com), and it now supports IO sets.
As with the rest of the enhancement types in my planner, there are no numbers/calculations with the IO. However, if you want to create a build that uses IOs and share with people on the forum/wherever, you can.
Another note is that i don't currently lock you into the 1-per-set rules. You're on your own with that for now.
Here's a quick example build export:
+---------------------------------------------
+ Built with SuckerPunch's Online Planner
+ http://www.cohplanner.com
+---------------------------------------------
Name: IO TEST
Level: 6
Archetype: Blaster
Primary: Assault Rifle
Secondary: Devices
+---------------------------------------------
01 => Web Grenade
Accuracy(1)
01 => Burst
IO - Far Strike (5) : Damage,Accuracy (1)
Damage(3)
Damage(3)
IO - Tempest (7) : Damage,Accuracy (5)
02 => Caltrops
IO - Curtail Speed (5) : Endurance Cost,Attack Rate,Slow (2)
IO - Tempered Readiness (7) : 20% chance of (5)
04 => Slug
IO - Salvo (7) : Damage,Accuracy (4)
01 => Sprint
Empty()
01 => Brawl
Empty()
02 => Rest
Empty()
+---------------------------------------------
Let me know what you all think! It's not perfect, but at least it's something for those of you chomping at the bit! Feel free to post here or in my Planner Forum any bugs or suggestions you have!
I know this isn't the solution everyone wants (NUMBERS ZOMG!), but hey, it's a start!

The last I heard, the person/people that maintain the online builder(s) were quitting the game and were not going to update these programs.
[/ QUOTE ]
well, you qualified with "Online", and as far as I know i'm the only one with a web-based planner. And I haven't quit the game.
Also, I am currently entrenched in updating my planner with both numbers (ZOMG!-- i am getting help with this one though to be honest), and Invention support. I can't *promise* i'll be ready when I9 hits, but i sure am trying!

I posted this in another thread, but figured i'd do it here as well:
i would like to offer this to the Victory community:
You can upload your avatars to the Victory Site Gallery. Free hosting, it won't resize your pictures, it's on a solid hosting service so no reason for it to go down.
Only thing is you have to register at the Victory Site if you haven't already:
http://www.pf-coh.com/victory/register.php
Hope that helps some of you out -
Heh, yeah i could do something for that, if it would be used... i could even import from CGT a listing of SG's.
The issue i've always had with this is: "Who's the REAL owner?" For instance, i could register as the leader and contact point for Shadows of Victory and Fist of Justice and totally screw with people. -
I made a few more minor changes to the code. Let me know if it does anything for ya.
-
That's strange, especially since I've tried 2 different computers with Avant and I can't duplicate it (at least not on my site).
Anyways, added a little more integration between the Planner on the site, which shows recent Victory builds. *shrug*, it's fluff, but i prefer fluff -
heh...
silly question but have you tried to uninstall/reinstall Avant? -
[ QUOTE ]
cool! Are you going to add the photo gallery back in?
[/ QUOTE ]
Done!
There was an add-on to the forum software i used so i just tossed it in there. You can use your Victory site username/password as well
Dont' forget to make use of the Victory Forum as well! Off-topic encouraged, no Moderator8! -
http://www.cohplanner.com/forum/index.php#4
Keep in mind, no dickery. Feel free to be O/T, but don't be a jerk!
edit#2 - You'll have to register on the Victory Site: www.pf-coh.com/victory first. Then you can use that same user/pass to get to the forum -
Is there any interest for Victory Off-Topic forum on the site?

Negative. I hate you... That is, of course, if you give up...........
[/ QUOTE ]
I'll play around with it, but it's extremely difficult to troubleshoot something I can't duplicate
[ QUOTE ]
Just a lil bug. On the home screen, you can't delete an event you added.
[/ QUOTE ]
actually, you shouldn't be able to delete from the home page, so i'll just remove the link -
[ QUOTE ]
I guess I haven't used it much but it looks the same to me.
[/ QUOTE ]
i would hope so. I made some behind-the-scenes changes to try and fix Voodoo's problem. it should functionally and visually be identical.
Just let me know Voo, as i can't really reproduce the problem so i have no idea if it worked -
I made some minor changes to the way adding events works now. Let me know if you can use it now, Voo.
-
what the crap!
Actually, i may have an idea on why. Let me muck around a bit. -
When you get home, check the version of Avant are you using? I've got: 11.0 build 43
When you click on the link to see the Event details, does that work?
edit - no, nothing major has changed with the planner since then. -
eh it was just a shot in the dark. It worked fine for me on a fresh install though..
Have you tried to use the planner at all from home? I know it breaks all your religious beliefs to do so, but it uses similar scripts there. -
Weird... just did a base install of Avant, with IE7 on this system, and it worked fine...
edit: Do you have Tools -> Disable Scripts checked? -
isn't Avant just an IE shell? It's weird you can't click on them, they're just regular <a> links...
Let me install Avant and see what i find -

ok, you should be set up now.
