I see what you all are saying. I actually do plan on slotting all of White Dwarfs abilities to the max (with the exception of Antagonize and such). Where am I getting all these slots without sacrificing slots in my Human form? Well, I'm not taking Bright Nova, so that frees up a lot of my spaces.
So, theoretically, IF I had enough slots and enough money, would it be more beneficial to six-slot White Dwarf with standard SOs or an actual IO set? That is all I'm wondering. I understand it is uncommon to six-slot the form itself, but since I'm not taking Bright Nova I feel as though I have some slots to spread around. I like to use my Human form for damage output.
You all probably think I'm a bit crazy for doing this, but I absolutely love the look of White Dwarf and I want it to be as powerful a form as possible, and have the option of actually filling in for a Tanker, at least temporarily. -
My Peacebringer, Sun Phoenix, is about to reach level 30 and, based upon advice I received earlier, I'm going to be picking up White Dwarf. I'm going to six-slot that form because I want it to be a powerful form. My question is, which one would fit it best? Price isn't a huge issue for me, since I am going to be buying the recipes with Reward Merits. Here were some of my options:
Aegis
Impervium Armor
Reactive Armor
Titanium Coating
I don't know much about IOs in general (other than their basic function), but I was curious as to which set of six would give me the biggest benefit for White Dwarf. Any suggestions? -
I only have a Peacebringer. I love the blue/white colors!
His name is Sun Phoenix. -
PrincessDarkstar: Thanks for your input. Since I missed my first real opportunity to take Dwarf (at Level 20) I will take it at Level 26, which is my next possible time to take it. Like you said, I will wait until later Levels to actually slot it, but it will be nice to have "just in case".
LordXenite: I did not know that the Dwarf from actually had a Stamina regen factor to it. That was one of the main reasons I didn't take it at Level 20, because I wanted Stamina on my Human form (I had been having HUGE Endurance issues up to that point). I do have a question for you, though. When I finally start slotting White Dwarf, what powers should have the priority? Since I really mostly team with a Scrapper, Antagonize doesn't seem all too important because he can handle himself, for the most part. Should I six-slot White Dwarf (3 DamRes/3 EndRdx) before I actually slot it's attacks powers? -
Thanks for taking the time to give your advice. I usually end up teaming with my friend who I've done a Leveling Pact with. He plays a BS/Sh Scrapper and I think the two of us make a decent team. The only problem is that we sometimes get in over our heads with mobs and have no real escape except to, well...escape.
I'm very interested in getting him to 50 and possibly even making him my main toon. I really like the versatility of Kheldians. I've come to realize that, most of the time, people don't expect much out of you, but if you play the AT well people are always pleasantly surprised! -
Hey all. This is my first time posting on the forums since they've changed the format, but I'm not a new player to CoH. However, I am to to using Kheldians and, more specifically, Peacebringers.
After I hit 50 on my main Tanker about a year ago I look a little break form CoH. When I finally came back I decided that I'd play a Peacebringer since I'd heard so many good things about them.
I love my current Human-only Peacebringer so far, who is 24. What I am trying to do is give his second build a Dwarf form option so that he can pseudo-tank when he needs to. My problem is I'm not sure WHEN to take the Dwarf form (I'm not in an absolute hurry to get it) and I was thinking that around Level 30 or 40 would be the perfect time. Do you guys have any advice?
Oh, and please don't ask about the Nova form. I would play it, but I just can't stand the look of it. I'm very superficial sometimes... -
Looking for Captain Steel. Would give quite a bit to have it. Send PM if you are willing to trade it.
