Personally, I always thought the self-rezzes should have the option to be run as a toggle, where if you would die with the toggle on, you trigger the self-rez effect instead. So in that way, it turns it into a kind of triggered heal with nice status effects/damage in some cases, but could still be used as a rez if you didn't have it active or it was recharging when you died.

I was thinking about taking grant invisibility on my forcefield mastermind to get my pets up over the softcap. However, I was looking at the power on City of Data, and I noticed that the defense portion of the power has a "Cancel on Attack, HitByFoe, MissionObjectClick" tag, which I think means the power stops providing defense when the target attacks or is attacked. This seems to run counter to the description of the power; does anyone know if grant invisibility actually gives a defense bonus to a character in combat?

Interestingly, the pet resistance power for demonlings in City of Data show the resistance powers are not tagged with the ignores enhancements flag. I just checked, and Zombies are also missing the tag for their resist power. As far as I know, I think that means they would be enhanced if you could get enhancements that enhance that aspect, like with HO's. I think City of Data pulls values from the games files, so the tag should be correct. Does anyone know if City of Data is wrong on this, or if there is some other reason the resist enhancement wouldn't work for the pet's innate resist powers?
Also interestingly, the T2 pet for demon summoning does have the tag on its innate resist powers. I would guess this is because it is actually supposed to take resist enhancers, and the devs didn't want you to enhance their innate resists at the same time you enhance their shields. -
Nope, I just got a standardized email saying that they get many qualified applicants for each of their positions, and that the credentials of the other candidates better suit their needs at this time. Maybe I'll try and get in touch with some of the people who interviewed me and ask how I could do better in the future.

Well, I finally got my rejection. Made it all the way through the pre-screening, the phone interview and the on site interview, but I guess I wasn't quite good enough. Perhaps I will give it another try if they are still hiring next year and I am still free to move out there.

I notice vigilance quite a bit. When I was leveling up my forcefield defender, I always tried to keep him on big teams. He never ran out of endurance; once I tried soloing, I was confused why I kept running dry until I realized that defiance had been carrying me while teamed.
As for being rewarded for not doing our job, so little life needs to be lost for there to be a noticeable affect that as long as someone is slightly injured, there should be a noticeable difference.
I do agree that having it do nothing solo is kind of uncool. It would be nice if it worked off of your hp too. -
I had lots of trouble today on my mind/psi dom with this. It made the fights very challenging, even though he was on villainous (he is only level 15). There are still things you can do, it just gets much harder. I found that confuse was my best friend, since if they were confused they would still shoot their friends instead of me. Also, they can't shoot while being knocked down/up, so lift worked well. Obviously these are solutions specific to mind, but there are still control options available to most primaries if they need them.
I still do wish they didn't have the ability to do this, but I kind of understand why it ended up this way, what with the ability being baked into the power and all. -
So I leave for a week and find myself outbid. Time to fix that; I bid 275 million.

I bid 150 million inf. I don't play all that much and am an altaholic, so I only have one level 50 after three and a half years of playing. My marketeer is on virtue, so I have lots of money there, and I have always wanted a high level villain for pvp purposes.
