  1. My conversation with him was...

Jabberwacky: Do you know Kelp Plankton?
    User: Not personally.
    Jabberwacky: Good.
    User: Why? Is he scary?
    Jabberwacky: Very scary.
User: I'll remember that and try to avoid him then.
    Jabberwacky: Good good.

Not sure what to make of that...
  2. What kinds of tools to people use to roleplay online? Are there certain tricks that people often find themselves using? What kinds of additional things would help people RP online better?

I know personally, I would love to see:

<ul type="square"> [*] Costumes and name changes to support secret identities. Allow a player to set aside one of their costume slots to serve as a secret identity and have their displayed name change along with the costume.[*] Have better storylines to support characters of different origins. Currently, characters start with different contacts based on their origin and starting location, but once they complete the first few missions, the set of available missions becomes the same for everyone. The new Kheldians seem to have some missions that are specific to them, and I would love to see all the origins have similar specific story lines.[*] Origin specific costume parts. Wouldn't it be great to be able to have a unique suit of power armor if you were a Technology hero? Or a cool aura if you were a mutant or science hero? Just having something unique that you could build into your background to support the character would be a great addition.[*] Weaknesses. Every superhero has a weakness of some kind. It might be nice to be able to get an advantage in one area of the game in exchange for having a weakness in another. Flaws like this are the basis of many super hero stories.[/list]
Just a few ideas that I had... Any other things people might like to see added to the game to better support roleplaying?
  3. I think CoH is more about the journey to level 50 than about what you can do once you get there. It's a little different than most MMOs.

But, enjoy the tons of storyarcs, task forces and missions up to level 50. Then you can play your Epic and go back and hit all the content you missed on your way through the first time in addition to any new things they add for the Epic ATs...

It's not all about the grind and leveling... it's about the getting there. This might not be everyone's idea of fun (although I will admit I enjoy it), and it is certainly different from other MMOs. Still, this difference, IMHO, is one of the things that makes CoH stand out from the rest of these games...
