Huh, how about that.
Guess I won't be hitting 50 before Issue 3 comes along then... WOE IS MEEEE! -
Am I the only one who wants to know what was in all these PMs? (That's the plural of PM, not the... other thing.)

??!!!! That's what you post?!!! You have paniced 10% of the community with your NERF hammer on poor Regen Scrappers and you post this first?
*smacks forehead*
Oi vey!

Actually, I'm responding to my PM's. Remember - I was at Gen Con for the past few days. First I collect my PM's, then I go to the boards.
PLUS - I'm spending more and more time on City of Villains.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yay for City of Villains! -

It's snowing RIGHT NOW in Vancouver! It's going to turn to rain soon though. *sigh*
I like the idea of a PVP snowball fight...can you code that without too much difficulty?
[/ QUOTE ]
Just make it work the same as a buff. Easy enough.
I played "snowball" fights with a few people after the Respec Trial using Coolant. -

As a few other people have already pointed out, to see what's been keeping me busy recently you might wanna take a glance here...

I was looking that site over a little bit, and stumbled upon this screenshot.
I find it unfair that the European players will get magical crotch-beams, when I have to resort to using my hands to use most of my powers. What if I need to carry some luggage and defeat villains at the same time? A crotch-beam would be the perfect solution!

If I were drinking anything right now I'd be charging you for a new keyboard. -
Hah! The UK gets a cooler site than the US! Whoooo! :grin

So Incarnate is the winged archetype!
DING DING DING DING DING
[/ QUOTE ]
Noper... The Incarnate is the Statesman (and also Lord Recluse) Archetype. -
[ QUOTE ]
If you've read this month's new Discover Magazine, there is an article about time/dimensional travel. Apparantly four nuclear-bomb powered x-ray lasers could theoretially be used to tear a whole in spacetime if they are aimed correctly and all activated at the same time aiming at the exact same spot, preferably at exact 90degree angles to maximize impact..
[/ QUOTE ]
Honestly, that sounds like a joke. It's as if they just slammed as many scientific terms together to try an confuse people. "Errr... X-Rays... Nuclear radiation... explosions...." -
That's because they aren't in the next feature update.

Lol, was just waiting to see that. hehe, thanks.

Just doing my duty sir. -

During the PCC event, didn't Cuppajo and the crew ask a few times whether us heroes would like the chance to travel back to fight during the Rikti Invasion?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh my God that would rock so much. If that happens I've got a few words of advice; If Hero 1 ever says "Hey! Y'know what'd be a fun idea? Going through this big portal to the Rikti homeworld!" DON'T GO WITH HIM.
That's pretty important to remember... -

Id like to beable to go play in the hazard zones before they were hazard zones doing missions there and so forth.
[/ QUOTE ]
That'd be pretty awesome... Faultline pre-Faultline.... -
[ QUOTE ]
We already implemented Time Travel...
Wait, we haven't yet? What year is this? 2004! Oh... um, ignore me.
[/ QUOTE ]
All Statesman's "Soon" comments are beginning to look rather suspect... -
Sounds familiar... It's likely to have been in an interview rather than a Dev Digest comment...
Time Travel is pretty popular in Comic Books, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be allowed to do it. After all, it was good enough for Ubelman. -
Everyone seems to be missing the key issue here:
Faultine + Boomtown = FAULTOWN, not Ghostown. The OP has some serious maths problems... -
[ QUOTE ]
Is it ignorant or arrogant? Only if you dissagree with it, if you agree with it then you find it correct.
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct and arrogant are not mutually exclusive.
In the case of something which has no rules (Roleplaying) you can't say that person X is doing it wrong, merely that they are doing it differently.
Imagine you're an artist who paints landscapes, someone comes along and introduces Cubism to you; it's not wrong as a type of art, it's merely different.
To say "I do not think Cubism is a valid art-form" is an opinion and is valid, to say "Cubism is wrong" is arrogant.
Does that clear things up? -

What's going on with the 5th Column? I'm afraid you'll have to wait for Issue #3 to find out...
[/ QUOTE ]
Hands up everyone who's been taking lessons from Statesman...
Seriously, thanks for the answers Bridgey. -
Just FYI for everyone who hasn't heard; The Incarnate are the ATs of both Statesman and Lord Recluse. That's the "Inner Will" mastery.
-
[ QUOTE ]
Update: Statesman and Lord Recluse are both Incarnates. Source: PDF of Web of Arachnos from DVD.
[/ QUOTE ]
I knew those two had something in common... Thanks for the heads-up.
So the Incarnate is the "Inner Will" Statesman Archetype... Do we assume the Corallax is the Winged AT (Most signs point to "crows")? -
You can always come back... It's not going to be in Issue 3m we know that for certain, so it's earliest date will probably be Issue 4 which should pop up around.. March?
-
Maybe that's what RP is to you. Do you have the right to say what other people are doing is wrong? I don't think so... Your opinion is valid, but it becomes ignorant and arrogant when you claim that your opinion is the only one which is correct.
-
Don't worry about it. I'll try and find a quote for you but t's been confirmed for some time now... -

[ QUOTE ]
Take what you will of this just a bit of useless information...
THe scientific name for a crow is Corvus corax....
[/ QUOTE ]
Well that's a big clue as to whether or not we're getting a winged AT...
[/ QUOTE ]
I think the bigger clue was the part where Statesman said "You're getting a Winged AT".
