Way to show your appreciation there guys. Merry X-mas to you too.

Devs: Merry X-mas! Here is some free stuff!

Crybaby players: Screw you Devs! I don't need this crap! Even if I did you should give me more notice! Can't believe your nerfing my playtime! Doom!

I really enjoyed this, it made me laugh. Thanks Jacobi
  2. I like the sound of Day Jobs. Some people have made it sound awful, like they have to log off in order to be successful. I look at it as an added feature. Sure, I have to be logged off in order to get it, but guess what? I am not logged on 24 hours a day anyways. I will eventually earn all of the powers (badges, etc.) that I want. It will just take a while.

I'm just not sure how this is such a bad thing. It seems like a nice reward for my character when I'm not actively playing.

It should be looked at as a little extra flavor, not an entire meal.
  3. I am an occasional PvP'er. I will probably check out PvP when it goes live, but I'm not rushing to test server for it.

Not really looking forward to Mission Architect either. I know there's a good chance it could changed, but the initial comment about the rewards being scaled down to prevent farming/abuse, just seems like a poor choice to me.

It seems like everywhere I turn there's talk about farmers and too many people making a build. I'm beginning to feel like the farmers of the game get more attention than regular players. Perhaps I'm wrong, but can there really be that many farmers out there that rewards and merits need to be toned down? Why should the average player suffer?

As far as I13, I'm looking forward to the release mainly because I want to try a */pain. I do wish they would consider the average player when deciding what to do about merit rewards though, instead of keeping farmers in mind.
  4. Overall I think the new site is very nice. Definitely going to miss the red side though. As mainly a villain player I find it uncomfortable seeing "City of Heroes" plastered at the top of the page.
Probably a good move, but will still take a while to get used to the whole thing being called City of Heroes.
