I just tried again and it said it may be a network server problem. Damn! I don't get much time off work and the only free time I get the server is down! Might close my account if this carries on as I'll be paying for nothing otherwise.

Okay it seems to be when I click on the CoH updater file to start the game (which I am running through STEAM) it just comes up with the black screen and a 'Connecting.. #1' in the bottom left corner. Usually it will show a screen of text revealing what updates have been made this time around but I am getting nothing.
I don't think it is my internet connection as I am using Firefox and downloading off of STEAM.
Do downloads affect online play connections? -

I usually have no probs logging in to CoH but this morning it will not connect. Is the server down?
I am in the UK and it is 10:25am.
