This is getting silly, telling Gill how awesome his artwork is. I mean, how can he not know?
Wonderful stuff. -
I agree with LivingHellFire. Go bizarre, look for unique connections and don't be too literal with the bow, otherwise you'll end up with another dry Robinhood.
Like...
-A survivor of Dr. Vahzilok's experiments who's left with the grafted hand of a former archer. Your citizen discovers that the hand is possessed and has a 'shadow memory' of its former skill. Magic or Science? Who knows.
-A robot accidently 'educated' by Errol Flynn movies. Some gigantic, malfunctioning prototype that imagine's itself a swashbuckler and womanizer.
-A police officer from a dark, chivalric future where guns and such brought about a near apocalypse. He/she has come to the past to convince humanity to change its ways.
-A Catholic monk who blesses his arrows and uses them to drive out the legion of demons inhabiting the criminals of Paragon City. A little crazy, but his heart's in the right place.
Stuff like that -
Wow. Some nice entries. Stiff competition.
This is for all those groovy people on Virtue who pointed this contest out to me. Orange and brown? Who knew?

I wonder if it would be too much to expect that some Fire, Ice & Storm types would have other 'inherent' options for putting out fires in the Hellions trial. Nothing fancy -the same effectiveness as a extinguisher - but using their own pre-existing power animations?
I would be borderline pathetic to watch superheros who have mastery over the elements freaking out over the charges in their fire extinguishers. -
Very neat! Now all those quasi-Nord/Celt magic types can have a region to call their own. Beautiful artwork there. I wanna rub that giant's belly
But Trick Arrows for Controllers? I've only been back a few days and I already know that one of the main Defender issues is distinction. Specifically, having more primaries that aren't available as Controller secondaries.
This is a goofy move, Devs, and it gives the impression that you're spreading powers a little too thin. Other new power sets can't be that far down the road, can they? -
So where's that cellphone emote we've been waiting for? Half the contacts have it; let heroes in on the overpriced minutes already. Gimme gimme. I have lunches to schedule.
