My ice dominator's domination mode costume
[/ QUOTE ]
Very cool. She looks like a Narnian Ice Queen. -
I'll... have to comment on that later. When I can log into DA without my boss looking on.
Suffice it to say, my current 'energy level' is swinging back up to what my partner seems to have all the time. Gotta love spring. -

Okay, one thing I haven't seen talked about yet are the costume change emotes.
Was playing with them last night. They officially ROCK.
The ONLY downside is that they don't seem to work from the /cc command. Only from the costume change screen.

Check Dev's Digest, I think BAB posted a macro/bind that you can use. -

Yep. He's sold more artwork than all of us combined, people collect more of his artwork than all of ours combined, and as someone who's SEEN FIRSTHAND what the publishing industry is like for artists, it's totally ironic that some "art drawer" has chosen his work to pull a Simon Cowell routine on.
Would you like a bigger backhoe for that hole you're digging for yourself, there, DZ? Cos, you know, this ranks right up there with telling Elton John that he can't sing very well.
It's Just. Not. Done. -
Gamestop in Las Colinas Center, Irving TX HAD one copy.
I have it now.
There's another up the street (GameStop Market Place), but I haven't checked with them.
And what's with the PLAYNC.COM site? I has serial code, wants Magic Pack!! -
Yes. But for twenty bucks, you get magic booster code AND a month of play AND a Data DVD with the LATEST BUILD on it.
Or, nearly latest. I think they may have patched once or twice since I14 went Live. Minor tweaks.
So you actually end up saving five bucks, over the long term. -
NOOOICE!!
And I recognize a few faces... heh... I've been playing this damn game too long!
... either that, or you all are doing the same thing that my employer did over a ten year timeframe... *counts the name changes* yah OK, y'all got at least another six years. -
Well I got lucky.
Called the Gamestop up the street, guy goes looking in his shipment, comes back and says "I have one box."
"Set it aside for me?"
"Uh... how long?"
"This afternoon, evening, when I can come pick it up."
"OK sure. What name?" -

I just got back from the local GameStop, with my Architect Edition.
[/ QUOTE ]
Damnit. They LIIIIED!!!
And of course, my partner has the car.
Screw it, I'll run up there this evening when I get up. -
So far, I've found it available on Amazon.com and Gamestop. However, Gamestop did not list it as 'in stock' within a hundred miles of my zip code (there are not one but TWO stores within a mile), and Amazon is an online storefront only.
Frys, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy are all within minutes of my house... and none of them even list it in the Pre-Order/Coming Soon sections.
"See this, retailers? It's a $20 bill, and a fiver for the sales tax. The first one to put Architect on the shelves GETS THE MONEY. But if NCSoft beats you, I run up the street, deposit the cash in the bank, and then buy it with my check card as a download. Mission Failed, n00bs!" -
OK ok. Point taken.
I was hoping for unique opinions on a brand new "server shutdown warning as I was publishing" arc, but... seeing as it's being taken as shameless promotion instead, I'll remove mine from both queues. -

Hey... who says everyone in Los Angeles reads the New York Times?
-
Esc-H (or carat-H) used to be the 'escape' sequence that triggered a backspace.
So, for people who remember printer escape codes, it's a way to indicate where one word was swapped for another... hacker humor, yay. -

Arc #2007, "The Green Brew"
tl;dr: 1 star. Offenses: Killer GM
Green Dwarf (author insert) needs you help in creating the perfect....
[/ QUOTE ]
Just as a warning to anyone else doing this arc, Green Dwarf sent me a comment on one of my arcs along the lines of "Hey I liked your arc and I gave it 5 stars, come play mine next!"
Okay well, I thought, why not he was nice enough to play my arc I'll give his a run (oh how nieve am I...) I get through it, even after the awful Hamidon encounter and come to the conclusion it wasn't really my cup of tea, I give him a 3 star rating and send him a few comments about why, nothing insultling.
Green Dwarf immediately marks down the arc he'd given a 5 star to me, marks down the other arc I had, then logs on another account to do the same thing again.
So well, be warned when giving comments on peoples arcs you don't know. But hey, 70 free tickets.

I'd /petition for that. -
