Firstly, you can always tell when I'm having a perturbing moment in my life by when I come back to CoX
City of X is always a comfort zone for me! If I'm feeling too good or too bad, I come back here to keep my half Italian *** grounded! Unless this game stops existing, I imagine I will always come back here every so often!
And don't miss me. I'm crazy. Missing crazy people is like missing the Swine Flu. Inconvenient and unfun!
I don't work in the studio till noon tomorrow (Monday) so I'm going to play as much as I can tonight! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Hope to see some of you guys around xoxox!

P.S. As for some art I've done recently...ish (I have been in transition between apartments within the last month) I was commissioned by a convention Connecticut Convention called ComiCONN for a Star Wars piece...No idea if I showed this recently: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs50/i/20...SorahSuhng.jpg
And for a "friend" (<_<) I've been seeing recently, I did this piece for Xmas: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/i/20...SorahSuhng.jpg -
Hi Hi, Virtue!
I reactivated for a month. And I laugh at your Are Pees! :P
And hey, I HOPE Xan and I are not the same person, Grae. I'd rather not be a ridiculous tall, skinny white guy with a rather ridiculous British accent.<3@Xan
I rather LIKE being this ridiculously short Asian chick with a penchant for fabulous clothing and designer footwear!!! Mmmmmmmm designer footwear. I need to go shopping.
<_<
>_>
<_<
Don't judge me! :P -
Hahahah this thread is still here. Win. /NECRO FORUM POSTING!!!

Juggy, we have not always seen eye to eye on things, but we have always managed to stay friendly.
One thing I have learned within the industry that I chose, is knowing when to let things go, and to shut up. I mean that with love.
Back when I played this game on a daily basis, running my VG, I had about 10-20 people, granted out of hundreds, on these boards, who hated my guts and wanted me to die...
Ya know what I did? Nothing. I let them burn themselves out. And ya know what satisfaction I got out of that? Nada. Because honestly, it didn't matter.
Feeding into a pointless flamewar is...well, pointless.
If someone is hating on anyone (and this goes both way, gentlemen), let's stop using the anonymity of the internet as a shield, suck it up, let it go. It's the interwebs. IT DOESN'T MATTER.
IF Suichiro (and Co.?) is indeed unfairly hating on you, there is nothing you can do to stop that. Rise above.
IF Juggy is indeed doing the things that Suichiro (and Co.?) are stating, there's really nothing you can do to stop HIM. Rise above.
I have a friend in comics who has had a death-threat-giving hater for the last 15 years of his career. Ya know what he does? Doesn't address the guy. Ever. Never responds to the emails. The hate mail. Nothing. And he's getting DEATH threats. :P
I've said this before. It's. A. Game. These. Are. Boards. This. All. Means. NOTHING.
ZIP.
ZERO.
NOTHING.

LOL Really just depends on Xan at this point. :P I am his humble and loyal RP buddy at this point XD
-
I wish I could have people help me do it, as oppose to JUST me doing it. Like hire day-laborers XD Hahahahaha. It's soooo time consuming
-
Quote:So I can then assume that you don't think I'm humble. \o/ I really should slap my teachers around. Clearly. XD
You'll notice that I generally leave all humble artists alone. Especially ones that are willing to keep learning and understand that they're not superior to anyone else.
I kid. I kid. -
I WILL have the coolest apartment ever....once I reallyfigure out how to do what I wanna do. XD

Wait, I kinda WANNA be the pwnsauce <_< just sayin'. Hahahaha

Quote:Ah!
Thanks hun! So...if I'm reading that right, then the neutral reps in our User CP can potentially be positive or negative, but said individual lacks their own rep to be able to effect anybody's rep. However, then, the green (positive) reps, ARE in fact positive reps received, and the red (negative reps) ARE in fact negative reps received. So the only one reflective of the "giver" is the gray/neutral one.
Is that right? <_< -
Why is there no "Rep FAQ" thread somewhere? Fail.

I dunno if I'll be in game from now till my account expires.
I also dunno if this is "goodbye goodbye," as there is a SLIIIIIIIGHT possibility that I will return at the beginning of October. That just really depends on what happens with a situation I am in IRL. If it goes poorly, I'm for sure back, because I will need distraction desperately. If it goes well, probably not. However, Xanatos has enticed me to come back with some epic RP storyline we cooked up accidentally, that if actuated, would be totally fun.
Point is, to some people's joy (I'm sure), I will be gone in 2 days*hugs to all*
Can I just say, that coming back after years of inactivity, or months, or whatever, Virtue community/CoX is like a warm fuzzy comfort blanket. I get very nostalgic and I always have a fabulous time. It is why, I suppose, even after 3 years of not playing, I refused to uninstall CoX from my computer XD. Just in the OFF chance that I'd want to hop on for old times sake.
I know I don't get along with everyone and I'm sure there are individuals who still hiss and glare at the mention of my name (winkz0rz), but I <3 you all, even the haters.
When I first started to play CoH, I had no idea the kind of impact it would have on my life. But because of this game, I really "found" myself, and my calling in life. <3 <3 <3
XoXo,

Man, I miss when PvP zones WERE places for RP. Those were the days man. I mean, for us PvPers/Rpers. EPIC battles, awesome stories.
Except the one where I was rping with someone and they kept trying to get me to scheck their character....that was a bit odd...even more so since that person was under 18 and creeping me the hell out.
Although, when I was getting "griefed" by a pissed off Rper that was pretty funny cause he'd fall for it everytime. I'd have my team with me, I'd bait, he'd come attack me, couldn't hit me (huzzah Ninjitsu Stalker!) and then my team would come in and obliterate him. <_< Hahahahahah GG. -
Quote:Really??? I had NO Idea about that. Is there a place where they explain the rules of repping? Cause I find it all very very confusing.
The amusing thing as well is that all the negative comments are from people with negative rep to begin with. That little jellybean next to the comment is what they have themselves, not what they gave you. Was confused about it myself when I was getting comments where the jellybean was grey and I knew that you cannot give "neutral" rep. -
Quote:Within the comic book art world, style is referred to as: Something that you do consistently wrong. (Under the assumption that the base point is some point of realism).
No. Style is something that you do purposely because you enjoy the visual aspect of twisting the normal into something else. Style is not the in-ability to render something properly to the recognized approval of the instinctual human eye. If you can prove that your skill is enough to effectively render something as 'proper' to the vast majority of people, then you can claim style when individual pieces look strange.
Just sayin' XD When I heard that, I was laughing my *** off cause I think it's completely accurate.
And Suichiro, sorry you got negged for what you had said in my thread, was not me, darling. People are welcome to their opinions, and I only neg-rep when I think someone is being a complete jackass/troll/etc.
I have that in my favorites from about 2 years ago. Best piece of writing I think I have ever read, to be honest. No matter where you come from, be it art or not, it's brilliantMy favorite part is "kidney bean and elongated pacman feet" hahahaha.
EDIT: Actually, I think my fav is the "one act play by Rob Liefeld" bit. "Nubian Secretary" and "purple void that was once your floor." Hahahahahahaha love that. -

Quote:Quoted for sheer brilliance. Especially the "Oh NO my man is NOT yo' baby daddy!" *falls out of her chair laughing hysterically**hisses, backs away, and makes the sign of the cross with two fingers*
Yes, there're RPers; they're more the majority on the forums than they are in the game, and if you're actually in a team with 'em they tend not to RP, which is both very bad and very good *hiss* at the same time. Sometimes you can get 'em started, but it's my experience that most folks can't type eloquent descriptions and dialog sequences while running in panic from an AV.
As far as elitist cliques - sure, there are people who like to play together because they find that the people they play with frequently are better (by whatever criteria) than random PUGgers. I haven't noticed a lot of animosity or contempt among them - they're seclusive rather than offensive. That's even true of the *hiss* ERP/MRP folks, who tend to form up into cliques for more obvious reasons, like.. paternity. Oh NO my man is NOT yo' baby daddy!
Bear in mind that there's no reliable way to verify someone's age in-game before you get involved in *hiss* ERP with em. Wouldn't want a visit from a federal agent to ruin your game/life/pliability.
...
*hiss*
As for age verification...When I was running the Dark Dominion, we had a "no one under 18 rule" and even kept Kichi at bay till she was of legal age :P Simply because we didn't want to have to filter things, we all cussed like you wouldn't believe OOCly and ICly, we made dirty jokes and there were instances in RP of hyper sexuality with the Vixens. It was relatively simple with my group cause we were all very close-knit and you had to BECOME close knit with us to join. We all called each other, emailed each other, bought things online together, all that jazz. So I guess it was easier for us. HOWEVER, for the random ERP bit, yeah...I can imagine that would be bad.
There's a legal question for you though...if you are ERPing with someone online and you don't know their age...and say it WAS a federal agent, kinda like "Predators Caught" thing on whatever station on TV...is that an offense? I mean, in THOSE circumstances, those individuals are FULLY aware of the person's age...
in the case of ERP if you ask someone their age, and they say 18, but are really 13, I think the legality is in your favor. Because you haven't actually DONE anything to the person yet? I mean TECHNICALLY the whole "online predators television shows" are kinda "Minority Report-esque," in that...well...they haven't technically DONE anything yet. So aren't you just poilcing thought then? Is it HORRIBLE? Yes. But if they haven't actually DONE anything, is it really illegal? I watch too much Law & Order SVU, seriously. I mean, I understand the need for it, in that it's children and you wanna protect them and all that jazz...and honestly those a**holes need be locked up anyway, but I'm talking pure law theory.
It's kinda like the question that popped into my mind about....god 6 years ago? I've yet to find a proper answer. Here's my question:
If you, at age 14 (in a State or locale the legal age of consent ISN'T 14), and your boyfriend/girlfriend, also at age 14, decide to have intercourse and record yourselves doing this...and then YEARS later, you two get married, and randomly find said tape and watch it. Are you then watching "kiddy" pr0n? Is that illegal? I mean sure, we can ask yourselves, "WHY would you want to watch your 14 year old self get busy?!" But that's not the point, I'm asking PURELY legal theory here. Anybody know? I need like dial-a-lawyer or something, cause I would love to put this one to rest.
(Yes, I spend way too much time in my own head just coming up with ridiculous circumstances and asking ridiculous questions).
